Family Dinner

The last week had been weird both my parents were always home as soon as I got home Ben was more open no Samantha and I weren't close we kept a distance I walked downstairs for breakfast I sat in my chair

"So guys tonight we want Ben to ask Luis and Lexi to ask Daniel to come over for dinner" iI was shocked my parents hadn't talked to Daniel since they told him to stay away from me

"Why do you guys want him to come over?"I didn't want them to fight

"We just want to establish your guys relationship and some rules"Oh hell no

"No my relationship with Daniel is between us 2, a relationship is between 2 people and with you two that makes 4 and that don't add up, and you guys don't get to make rules"

"Just invite him over it's not like we are going to kill him"I took a deep breath looked between the two of them 4

"If Ben does I will"We all looked at Ben

"SureI'll bring Luis over"

"By the way, I have to ask Daniel if he can come so I'll tell you after"They nodded

"We have to get to school come on Ben"I grabbed a toast kissed both my parents on the cheek and left Ben drove us to school Ben walked inside the school and I walked over to where the guys usually parked their bikes, they were late which wasn't usual I waited it was 10 mins later

Why weren't they here yet? After a bit I decide to go inside I was walking to my locker I was on my phone trying to text him to see where he was at

"Lexi" I heard Daniel's voice I looked up Daniel was standing there with a huge grin, flower, and chocolate in his hand I got a bit close to him

"What are you doing?"

"I came to surprise, you with flowers and chocolate"He smiled

"So your telling me"I kept walking close to him"You made me stand in the freaking heat for 12 minutes looking like an idiot, not even a text, so you could surprise me"

He slowly nodded I guess I scared him

"Awe you so cute" He let out a breath "But how's you get in without me seeing your bike?"

"I drove here"He handed me the flowers and chocolate

"One thing" He looked confused "I don't like chocolate"

"What girl doesn't like chocolate?"He was shocked

"Your girlfriend it's too sweet but I love the effort"I got on my tippy toes kissed his cheek "I also love the roses"

"How did I not know you didn't like chocolate?"

"Because it's not like we eat chocolate every single day that's why, so stop beating yourself up about it and give me a kiss"He leaned closer he was all grumpy he quickly kissed me I put the chocolate in my locker then closed it

I grabbed his hand in mine, I noticed I hadn't seen the guys they were usually around

"Where are the guys?"

"Xavier and Luke met 2 chicks and they're trying to score, Allison and Jesse went for breakfast"

"They finally found someone about time now we can go out on quadruple dates"He gave me a face 'Oh hell no' "I'm kidding"

"Oh good I actually thought you were serious"I shook my head 'no'

"It has to be a quintuple, we have to invite Ben and Luis as well" His eyes went wide and I smiled and laughed he caught on and laughed the bell rung
