Alice's POV:

"Is she stabilized? I heard someone ask.
"She's been flatlining, B.P. is low and left shoulder is dislocated. No sign of head injury" another male voice said.
"Do you know her name?" The first voice asked, I felt him touching my shoulder. He lifted my lids and a white bright light dazed me.
"Pupils are responsive"
"I think she's Emma Black or Alice Black? They look pretty alike, but one of them is younger" the other guy answered.
"I'm Alice" I said, except I couldn't hear myself and they didn't seem to react to my words. I had no idea what had happened. I heard the doors swing open.
"Shit!" I heard Helena's voice. I heard her run towards me. Good thing she was finally here, she's the best doctor I have ever met.
"Her name's Alice" Helena said worried, "did you order a head C.T?" she asked.
"Not yet" the first voice answered fear evident in his tone. I guess they were a little scared of Helena.
"Well what are you waiting for?" She said violently.
"Well there was no evident head injuries and pupils are responsive" the second voice said defensively.
"I don't care hurry up and get me that C.T." She yelled. The last thing I remember was being pushed in a gurney and hearing the sound of an elevator going up or down?

Helena's POV:

I had always loved working at the hospital. Since what had happened to Effie I felt weird, you just never really imagine your friends or family coming in through those doors and being in critical conditions. Alaska and Emma were still asleep from the anesthesia and all the meds, they had really bad cuts that needed to be stitched, two or three broken bones that would heal on their own with some rest, nothing life threatening. Ronnie was still in shock. He was the one that was driving. I still didn't know what had really happened he wouldn't say a word to me or anyone, I guess he felt guilty.
"Doctor, Alice Black is stable and in a room now. We just have to wait for her to wake up" one of the interns said giving me the chart. I checked that everything was correct and gave him back the chart.
Alaska and Emma were put together in the same room, they were both awake. Effie was laying on Emma's bed while Emma cried her eyes out. Alaska was silent looking straight ahead. She would talk once in a while but she was mostly quiet.
"Alice seems to be stable. She's in a room now, but she hasn't woken up yet" I told them trying to hide the worry I was feeling.
"She's in a coma?" Emma asked with her eyes wide open.
"We have to wait and hope for the best, has anyone of you talked to Ronnie?"
"No, he's not saying anything, Sloan told me that we'll just have to wait until he feels better. Maybe when Alice wakes up he'll say something" Effie told me. I was about to talk to Alaska when my pager vibrated.
"Shit!" I ran out of the room. Alice was crashing again.
I got to the room and Mark was already there.
"Crash cart!" he yelled, he saw me there unable to move. His eyes were full of preoccupation.
"I got this Helena, just go" he assured me.
"Charge to 200!... Clear" I saw Alice's small body go up with the shock, but that shock was enough to get her stable. Mark gave directions to the nurses and the interns and got out of the room.
He walked up to me and put his arms around me holding me tightly. I felt like I couldn't breath.
"It's okay. You're all going to be okay!" He said in a soothing tone.
"Helena?" I heard Seattle's voice. I turned around and saw him there, paler than usual.
"Oh Seattle!" I ran up to him and hugged him. His eyes were red he had been crying.
"Have you seen her yet?" I asked him. He shook his head.
"Mark can you take Seattle to Alaska's room?" I asked him. He nodded and gave me a smile.
I walked inside Alice's room. She was stable for now. I ran to find Ronnie. He was still in the same place I had seen him, looking the same, still not doing anything.
"You!" I called him angrily, "Instead of being here like this, you should go and see your girlfriend, sit by her side and wait for her to wake up!" I grabbed a wheelchair and put it by his bed so I could take him to Alice's room.

Ronnie's POV:

I felt like I was in a bubble. I couldn't hear a sound, I couldn't get my eyes to look around, I couldn't move an inch of my body. All I could think of was Alice. She was in the front seat and we were holding hands. And the next moment I knew, a grey truck hit us from the side. I had no idea what I had done wrong. Helena made me come out of the bubble, she started yelling and basically forced me to go see Alice. She was just laying there, tubes and needles everywhere. This was all my fault.

Alice's POV:

I heard someone open the door.
"She hasn't woken up?" I Heard Ronnie ask. His voice was even more hoarse than it usually was.
"No" Helena told him.
"Baby," I felt him grabbing my hand, "I need you to wake up for me. I can't live knowing that I did this to you, please just wake up!" he started crying, I could hear him blow his nose.
"This is not your fault Ronnie, you didn't drink, you weren't speeding, we were driving like any other day. Things just happen sometimes, there's no need to place blame" I said trying to squish his hand, but again, nothing.
"What's going on! Why can't you hear me!" I yelled and started crying.

Helena's POV:

I decided to leave Ronnie alone with Alice, I went back to the room where the girls and Seattle were. Alaska was asleep and Seattle was holding her. Effie and Emma were laughing, they were on video call with Roger and Timmy.
"Guess who's coming tomorrow!" Emma told me excited.
"Who?" I pretended to be as excited as her.
"The guys! They're all coming to visit!" She giggled.
"Well at least someone is feeling good!" Effie told me while we walked out, "Any news on Alice?" she asked.
"No" I shook my head. I stopped to talk to a nurse and Effie, as curious as she always was, looked into a patient's room. She turned around to look at me.
"Now what did you see girl?" I asked her smiling.
"That guy looks a lot like Brandon" she told me pointing at the window.
I grabbed the check-in chart in the E.R. And after the girls had come in, two guys had come in too.
John Doe and John Doe. We knew who they were. Brandon and Atticus.
