What Happened When We Met

Dear Diary,

A week ago I started going to the shrink in the hospital. I honestly hated the idea of it but Mark had insisted. I had been experiencing anxiety attacks and didn't know the reason behind it, so I agreed to go. The doctor told me that it would take time but for now she recommended me to start writing again on this journal, diary, thing, whatever it is. But I am a busy woman so I decided to do it weekly. So here are some of the things that happened. Alice and Tyler are officially together, it made me really happy because Tyler is christian and he has invited Alice to go to church with him, I find it amazing because I have witnessed what God's love does to couples. Sometimes I pass by the living room and they are randomly playing board games or working out together, I find it cute. Emma and Roger are working together too, she goes with him to the pizza place and he goes with her and helps her while she is tattooing people, he says it's to help, but I think he does it to be there while she tattoos the hot guys. They recently got new motorcycles and they look so freaking hardcore when they're riding together. They're the couple that will always fight but will always stay together. Alaska and Seattle are getting married, they won't stop talking about venues, catering, cake, dresses, honeymoon; all that wedding stuff. I loved the excitement in Alaska's eyes every time she talked about it. On the other hand, Effie and I were pretending to be Timmy and Jimmy's girlfriends. And we all knew that it was all about to be over.
I knew if my shrink were to be here, she would be asking me how I feel about that thing with Jimmy, and honestly, I don't even know. I don't want to feel like the last time he left, all angry and sad. But I feel like this time it's going to be worse, after all the couple stuff.
Anyway, today we are taking the guys to the airport. They've been getting their things ready all morning. We helped Emma pack too, it was her week with Roger in Canada and she was really excited. She was going to be touring all around with them, I felt a little jealous, I wished I was the one that got to go touring with my boyfriend and his band.
We took them to the airport, like always, Effie was the one driving. She had been quiet the whole time, and Timmy would only look at her with puppy eyes. Jimmy and I were holding hands, we were making a list of things we promised to do for when we could be together again. Roger and Emma were so excited about their trip, he was telling her about all the places he was going to take her and the job she was going to get with the band. Alice and Tyler were watching "Supernatural" on their phones, Tyler would get mad when Alice mentioned the guys' butts and then they would laugh together. Alaska and Seattle were listening to music, singing and dancing crazily. Alaska was so happy that Seattle was staying with her.
Things seemed to be finally like they were supposed to, until we found ourselves standing by the 'departures gate'.
"So here we are again" Jimmy put his hands on my shoulders.
"Let's not make this harder okay? Just hug me and leave" I said looking away.
"Well, I am really tired so we better get going" Emma said bringing us together in a girl group hug.
"Take care Emma, don't do anything I wouldn't do. Eat and sleep well. Call me at least once a week. Send me pictures of everything you do, and take care of this dork" Effie said punching Timmy on his right arm.
"Yes mother" Emma laughed and started hugging us one by one.
"I will miss you best friend" Alice told her with a couple of tears on her eyes.
"We will Skype everyday" Emma gave her a kiss on her forehead.
"Keep her safe" I tell Roger narrowing my eyes.
"Will do" he smiled and took her hand. They both walked away waving goodbye.
"Okay, you go too" Effie told Timmy pushing him towards the gate.
"Are we breaking up?" He asked her with a pout.
"Of course we are, we said it was only until you left. That means that once you cross that door, we are over" she smiled and gave him a tight hug.
"Don't miss me, alright?" he smiles back at her.
"I won't" she laughs and gives him a small kiss.
Timmy hugs everyone and then he goes away looking back and smiling at us several times.
Jimmy then turned around to face me. He smiled weakly and wrapped his arms around me.
"We need to stop doing this" I tell him laughing nervously.
"I'm coming back soon Lena" he assured me with a smile.
"Yeah, I don't know where I'll be when you come back" I shrugged my shoulders.
"That's true, we'll have to wait and see" he hugged me tighter.
"Goodbye friend" I told him with my face buried in his chest like always.
"Friend" he said rolling his eyes and moving away from me a little. He lifted my face and gave me a sweet kiss. For some reason this time did feel like a goodbye. He hugged everyone too and walked through the door not looking back. That was good because I didn't want to see his face as he left me there once again.
"I guess we're back to being single," Effie placed an arm around my shoulders, "want to go get a drink?" she laughed shamelessly.
And this is how we went back to the old drunks we used to be.
