Kirstie's pov:
The words rang in my ears. "Stop this immediately!" I was so happy Scott, Avi, and Kevin came to save us but why did the evil science guy have to come? Was this necessary? Couldn't he have just ran off and not come back?
"Don't touch them," Avi growled to the scientist.
Scott nodded rummaged through his backpack for something. "Or you'll have to deal with this."
Scott pulled a pencil out of jock backpack. "Feast your eyes on my mighty... Nope not it" he reached into his backpack again and this time pulled out a knife. It was very small, but sharp.
"Don't come near us or this will go through your neck." Scott held the knife up, showing that he wasn't kidding.
The scientist came into my view and I heard Mitch behind me move a little. I knew if he could control himself, he'd be running, and I would be too. Scott moved away from the scientist and Avi and Kevin did the same.
"I am Steven Wievenstein and no one tells me what to do. If anyone will be hurt it's going to be you," he said and pulled out a needle filled with the stuff that turns you into a horse zombie thing. I felt my hands tense up and my face burning.
There is NO way he is going to inject and make them zombies on my watch. He'd better move before I come, I angrily thought, even though I had no idea how I would do that.
As Steve got closer and closer to Scott, Avi, and Kevin, I felt my legs and arms get easier to move. Suddenly I could move. I walked right over there and Scott saw me. He titled his head as I'd asking me if I was walking or the zombie. I nodded, meaning it was me. Scott threw the knife in attempt to scare Steven, and it hit the ground and slid over to my feet. I picked it up off the ground and looked away. My arm seemed to freeze as I questioned hurting him. I threw my arm towards Steve's leg and cut a deep wound.
He screamed in pain and threw the needle to the ground. It burst and shattered on the forest floor. Steve ran away from us, well more like hobbled away since he couldn't walk on his hurt leg.
I dropped the blood stained knife on the ground and sat down, my head in my hands. Mitch stayed exactly like he was, and I assumed the strange thing that allowed me to move again didn't happen to him. Avi and Kevin came over to make sure I was okay and Scott went to Mitch.
"Kirstie, are you hurt anywhere?" Kevin asked as he took a first aid kit out of his backpack.
I tried to move my arm across my leg, which felt numb, and realized I couldn't move anymore. Like before, I could only move my fingers. Kevin seemed to notice this and began to examine my leg.
"I'm assuming that in the moment of terror, you got so scared that you took over again and did what you needed to do to become calm again, which was hurting Steve and making him leave. Then once all the action was over the zombie took over again. Your leg seems fine, but there is a small scratch by your ankle, probably from a twig or something."
I moved my hand to say thank you to Kevin for helping me out, and he nodded. "No problem, Kirst. Just trying to get us all back to normal. Well, I think we won't ever." Avi turned to Kevin.
"Why?" Avi asked and Kevin leaned closer to whisper something.
"Well scömìche is becoming real. If things don't go back to normal for them, then it will be better. In a way, all this happening in the end could be good for them."
I thought about the wise words Kevin had said, and began to relax a little. Then, I realized that I was still being taken over by a zombie and wasn't back to normal yet. We still had to figure out how to save us before it was too late and the zombie took over for good.
I began tapping my fingers, wishing for a cure to make me not turn into a horse zombie thing. I forced the zombie to turn my head towards Scott and Mitch, and I heard Scott talking. Avi and Kevin walked over there and the zombie followed out of curiosity.
"... Coby Michael Grassi you will be fine. Oh here the others come now. Let's begin the memories and get Kirstie and Mitch back to normal!"
"I got the paper," Kevin said, waving it in the air.
Avi skimmed through the words on the paper. "Great. Let's take turns reading some memories."
Kevin did the first one, since he was holding the paper. "The first day we all met, when I arrived, we arranged telephone. Uhh... Is that all I have to say?"
Mitch growled a little and when the zombie in me turned my head towards him, he looked a little more normal than he had a minute ago. Scott nodded to Kevin and gave him a thumbs up. Kevin passed the paper to Avi, who was closest to him.
"Another memory of us is when we went on a radio show to sing, and we messed up. Kirstie, Scott and Mitch were laughing and Kevin and I just smiled, trying to stay professional," Avi said and I felt a little pain in my feet, moving upwards to my head and then left. I assumed that I had gotten a little more normal, but I didn't really know. Avi handed the paper to Scott so he could read the next memory.
"Uh... Ok the next one is a big one, when we won our first Grammy. We didn't really expect it and we're very surprised." Scott gave Kevin the paper again.
"When we found out we won this sing off," Kevin said quickly and again I felt like I was getting more normal. I again had control of my legs and my neck, and I moved them around as Avi read the next memory.
"This is the last one on the paper. The last show we had, and the part after. Should we do more because these things were only a few out of the tons of memories we've made as Pentatonix,"Avi said, looking towards Scott.
"No... No more," Mitch said and we all looked at him. Mitch stood there, in the forest, his eyes gleaming with happiness. "I'm okay." Mitch's words echoed in the forest for a second until Scott jumped up and hugged Mitch, almost causing him to fall over.
"I'm okay too!" I said happily as I realized I could also speak and move as if there was never a zombie taking over me. Avi and Kevin hugged me tightly. Scott and Mitch walked over and hugged me too, and we just stood there, in the forest, reunited. We were finally okay. Finally normal again.

This took forever to write. More updates coming in the near future. I promise.
