5: Origin of Pepe

Aunt Jacobs pov

(This takes place before Jacob is famous and has money)
"What's going on, mommy?"
"Me and daddy don't love each other any more."
"Why?"
"Because daddy is being mean."
"So where are we gunna live now?"
"I don't know sweety."
"We don't have that much money."
"How much do we have?"
"About 500 bucks."
"Wow that's a lot!"
"It's not that much. I think we should just get a room at the hotel."

Much driving later.....

"Pepe we're here."
"Pepe?"
I turn around to the backseat.
Pepe fell asleep.
I walk over to his door. Pick him up. Take him into the hotel. Get a room. And plop him down on the bed.
*growl*
I'm hungry. I walk over to the door. Grab our stuff and sit down on the bed. Eating my hash browns from McDonalds.
I need a job. Maybe that strip club I used to work at before.
But what about Pepe?
I'm going to have to work two jobs to raise him.
I can live on Chinese food, but he can't.
Who will watch him during the day if I'm working two jobs?
He can't stay by himself. He's only two.
And I can't afford a babysitter.
Maybe I can get one of my friends to raise him.
Kermit the frog can do it. He's nice. And I can trust him with my kid.
Even better, he's a frog! Just like Pepe.
I'll call him.

*ring ring ring*
"Hey! Jacob! It's been awhile man how've you been?"
"Not so good."
"What's up?"
"Well me and Shrek broke up."
"Really? But you were so perfect together."
"That's what I thought until he started hitting me."
"Where are you right now?"
"Me and Pepe are at a hotel. Do you think you could come over? I need to talk to you."
"Yeah sure."

Kermit's pov
I hop into my Beatle car and drive to the hotel.
"So what's up?"
"IneedyoutoraisePepe."
"What?"
"I need to get a job. Can you take care of him?"
"How long?"
"Until he's old enough to live on his own. Which should be when he's 14."
"I thought you had to be 18."
"He's a frog. Frogs age faster. That's why I thought you would be perfect. Because you're a frog."
"Did you tell him yet?"
"No. He's sleeping right now. So you'll do it?"
"Yeah. Sure. I have nothing else to do with my life."
"I really appreciate it."
"Yeah. It's no problem."
"Mommy..... Who's that?"
"This is Kermit the frog. He's going to be taking care of you for now on."
"Why?"
"Because I don't have enough money to take care of you. I'm sorry baby. But don't worry. He's really nice. Say hi."
"Hi."
"Hello Pepe. You are going to live with me for now on."
