Secret Santa

Selena's POV

It was a week before Christmas already, I was really excited. Secret Santa this year is pretty intense and I got Jack to do. I wish I got Finn if I were to be perfectly honest. I know what I could have gotten him. But I'm giving Jack his present today at school. Gavin told me about the Kat incident that happened two weeks ago and I don't think it was right. I hope she won't ruin things today when I give Jack his 'present'. So I decided to put my uniform on then go to the mirror and put some light foundation, a little bit of mascara and some eyeliner. I tied a nice red ribbon in my hair and I was almost set for school.

I grabbed a slice of toast on the way out and I was on my way.

First lesson was art then I had French before I could see any of my friends. I couldn't wait. I've never really had this much excitement in ages.

The last few minutes of French came and my eyes were glued to the clock.

"Selena?" Mrs Hames, my teacher, called.

"Sorry, what?" I replied.

"Since you weren't listening would someone like to tell Selena when her homework is due?"

All the class groaned and I was eventually told. The bell went shortly after and I literally rushed out the class.

"Jack!" I yell stepping out into the quad.

"Selena!"

Kat walked over and Jack looked at her awkwardly. What's going on now? Please not now.

"Hey Kat... Merry Christmas from your secret Santa!" He said in a fake happy tone. He held up a bag to her and I saw Jack's present arrive. Jack's present was getting delivered and was getting closer. Maybe about 5 feet away now. Then BAM. Kat strikes again. Well that's game over for Kat now...

"Oh hey... Jessie?" Kat says after pulling away from Jack.

"Um..."

"Yeah, Jack... Merry Christmas I'm your secret Santa. Kat just ruined your present but here she is anyway." I reply rather bluntly showing I'm annoyed.

"Well she's not here for long." Jess said before walking away. Great.

"Jessie. Wait! It's not wh-"

"ITS EXACTLY WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE JACK!" Jessie shouted. "I come home just for you and your cheating on me? Is this why the skype calls ended all of a sudden?"

"No..." Jack replied.

"You know what. I never thought you'd do this to me. I'm just going to go back home."

"But this is your home Jessie!" I but in.

"Not anymore."

She kept walking this time. Not stopping for anyone and I didn't know where she was going but I knew I had to follow her.

"Nice work Kat." She looked down at her feet. I followed Jessie.

Jack's POV

"I can't believe this." I say sitting down on the bench with my head in my hands.

"Look, Jack I'm sorry." Kat says sitting down next to me. This causes me to stand back up.

"I don't know what's wrong with you! I told you already. Now... Now I've lost her."

"Oh..." Kat replies. I get up and decide to just walk, somewhere no one will see me. Somewhere no one will care. But I knew I was being followed.

"Jack! Hold up!" I here him calling, I block them out an concentrate on what's in my head.

"JACK!"

"What?" I turn around.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing Finn just go away."

"There is something wrong, you've been acting weird for weeks and now I see Jessie back and you're here?" He replies. I know he's right but he doesn't know the story.

"Just am." I reply back. I am not in the mood to talk to anyone, especially Finn.

"I'm your twin Jack, I know how you're feeling even if I want to or not."

"You don't understand."

"What's happened then?" He asks. Ugh, no.

"I lo..." I mutter to myself, making sure he doesn't hear me.

"You lost her? Yeah I heard."

"Then why did you make me say it?" I'm starting to get a little agitated now.

"Because I wanted to hear it from you, Kat's fault I also hear. Jessie's in the girls bathroom crying her eyes out if that helps...."

"No, that doesn't help thanks." I start walking in the other direction. Heading towards the girls toilets.

I chap on the door to the toilets and wait for someone to open it. I am not going in there. It swings open and she's standing there. Mascara all down her face and it's all my fault.

"Jessie, wait let me explain." I plead.

"No Jack, I've seen all the explanation. You love Kat, not me. Now leave me in peace." And the door was then shut. I decided if she wouldn't listen then I could write it all down. I got out my English jotter and tore a page out. I wrote her everything that happened and what she didn't see.

I slid the paper under the door and chapped again. I sat against the wall and waited.

"I love you Jessie..." I whisper through the door. It then opens to a sad looking Jessie.

"This proves nothing." I then had a crumpled ball of paper thrown at my face. And she runs off. I un-crumple the paper and see it's not my writing, it's her's.

-I'm sorry Jack, you're still a liar and you can run off with Kat :)-

All in capital letters across the paper. Nothing was getting through to her so I texted her for one last hope.

*What happens now?* I ask.

I wait for a reply by rummaging through my bag, looking for the scrapbook. I look through it endlessly with a big lump at the back of my throat. I blink my eyes hard to stop tears falling. I have to admit I wasn't behind very manly, but I'm head over heals for that girl. When my phone buzzes. I instantly look at the message that I was dying to see. Then my heart breaks at the sight.

*We break up.*

Put a lot of thought into this chapter and I still don't think I like it.... Not my best but I hope you enjoy it.
