DIANA

I was scrolling through my public Instagram when I saw people commenting about the accident. Some people were saying how they were sorry about Kiki, some said they felt bad, and some said it was my fault.

Which it was.....

Others were trying to defend me, but I knew it was true. I shut the app off and laid on my bed, thinking about life. I looked up at the ceiling, which seemed to be staring back down at me.

"Diana?" A voice spoke, interrupting me from my trance. I sat up and looked at the door, looking directly at Avia. She seemed to be troubled by something. I grew surprised, because no one came in my room after what had happened.

"Yeah Av's?" I spoke. I motioned for her to come and she did, shutting the door behind her. I was glad, because my pet peeve was when people left the room and didn't shut the door.

"I-I have a secret, can you promise not to tell?" She asked me, in a shy voice. This was unlike Avia, who was usually confident and sassy.

"Fine, I won't tell." I told her.

"I was on the toilet, and noticed there was a stain on my pants and-" She didn't need to say anymore before I knew what was going on.

"You got your period!?" I shrieked, as she covered my mouth.

"Shut up! This is serious!" She said, in a frantic voice.

"Do you need a pad?" I asked her, as she nodded her head. A few minutes later, I got her one and she went in the bathroom. Once she came out, she gave the thumbs up sign. I gave her a small hug and she hugged me back.

"Why don't you wanna tell mom?" I questioned her.

"I would but, she's fighting with Lisa! Emmi has no experience with this type of thing, Mila is a baby, Kiki isn't here right now, and everyone else isn't here!" She spoke.

"I had no choice but to tell you, I thought you were mad at me!" She rambled on.

"Avia, why would I be mad at you?" I asked her.

"Well, ever since the accident, you have locked everyone out! I thought it was because of all of us! But-"

"Avia, I'm not mad at you, don't you think that, okay?"

"Okay," She nodded as I gave her another small hug. While we had a sister moment, I thought about how I had shut her out. It wasn't right for her, or for any of my siblings.

Avia left, and I flopped back down on my bed. Feeling as though I had nothing to do, I continued to study for school. After about an hour of studying, I got a text from Jordan.

Me- hey babe

Babe 😍💦- you going to Julianna's party next week?

Me- I don't know, I still have to study and my parents will have a shit fit if I leave the house since they chained me to it

Babe 😍💦- Maybe if I came and got you, they would understand?

Me- Maybe, or I could sneak out

Babe 😍💦 - whatever you want princess ❤️

Me- love you, I'll text you later

Once I left the conversation, I felt better. Jordan had made my day so much better and he didn't even know it. Well, and Avia also did too, because I finally had one of my siblings talk to me.
