Twenty-Eight

DIANA

Today was the day I was going to get my license. Mom had driven me to the drivers test along with Sophia and Kiki. The three of them would be here for moral support.

I knew dad wasn't gonna come since we weren't on good terms.

It was bad

"You ready?" Sophia asked me as I nodded my head.

As I saw Sophia, I remember I needed to apologize for leaving her to cover for me. Sophia started to walk away but I started to talk.

"Yeah. Sophia-" Was what I said as she turned around.

I let out a small sigh, "I'm sorry for making you cover for my stupid ass," I told her as she walked over to me.

"Dude, it's okay. I have like no life and needed to get out of the house for a few minutes to breathe. Jackie has been going on and on about her friends and her eighth grade life and it's annoying!" Sophia told me which caused me to laugh. Kiki was talking with mom, who was also vlogging while we all waited for them to call me.

"So, you forgive me?" I asked her, in a small voice.

"Yes, I forgive you!" She said, as we hugged.

"Diana Butler?" A lady called as I stood up. Mom and Kiki put their cameras away as everyone faced me.

"That's my que, gotta go guys!" I exclaimed.

I got into the driving car and sat on the drivers side.

Man it felt good to finally control this side!

"Hi, I will be your drivers ed instructor," He said, as he told me a few more things I needed to know. While he talked, I zoned out and remember the times that I had practiced driving in the last few months around the property.

A few months ago before the accident:

"Okay, so first, your gonna learn how to use the reverse!" Dad told me as I felt excitement rush through me. This was one of the first times I was learning how to drive a car!

"Hoe, you got this!" Kiki cheered, as dad sent her a glare and Sophia, Skye, and Amber laughed. They all had came for support. Julianna would of came but her she had to go somewhere.

I looked at the car and before dad said anything, I moved the gear to drive.

"Okay, so whatever you don't-" Was what dad said before I spoke.

"Let's do this bitches!" I exclaimed, stepping on the gas petal, and backing out real fast, which caused everyone to scream. I started to laugh as dad also eventually ended up laughing.

"Diana, that was not funny that was-"

"Well dad, your laughing right now!" I told him as he rolled his eyes.

"But seriously, don't do anything like that agai-" was what he said before I stepped on the gas again which caused everyone to go flying forward except me. We sped off and it felt like Fast and Furious.

Everyone was screaming as I was laughing and continued to drive fast. Dad was yelling out directions for me as I took them and continued to swerve.

I then saw a small little hill bump, and decided, why not go over it?

"Diana, hoe don't do it!" Amber yelled, as I sped up. Everyone was begging me to stop and even dad was threatening me with taking driving privileges away from me, but I didn't care.
