DIANA

"KIKI!" I screamed, as I quickly got up from the floor. Gavin and I watched her tumble down the cliff, bumping her body on various objects. She hit her head on something, before blacking out. She was dangerously close to the river.

"We have to get her!" Gavin screamed at me, tears falling down both of our faces.

"I did this! I need to get her!" I said to him. I quickly tried to get down the cliff as Gavin fearfully watched me. I started to run down the cliff, because Kiki was about to be swept into the river.

My foot tripped over a tree branch, before I went falling down. I felt my body become bruised. Something sliced my face, as I let out a small yelp, before landing on the ground.

I groaned, noticing gashes and cuts across my body. But I wasn't important right now, Kiki was almost into the river. I quickly got up and ignored the pain, as I limped fast to her, and grabbed her body before she could fall into the river.

I dragged her body to the shoreline of the river. There was blood seeping from Kiki's head. I started to cry, knowing my sister was in danger because of me. I needed to help her.

She had cuts across her face, and must of had bruises on her body.

"I'm going to get help!" Gavin yelled from above. I noticed the cliff was bigger than we had thought, it was at least fifteen feet.

"Gavin, you can't! Kiki is bleeding out! You need to help me! Just be careful coming down! And hurry!" I yelled at him. I looked for something to stop Kiki's bleeding with.

If she lost blood, she could have some serious brain trauma. I needed a towel or a rag. I didn't have those things on me, only my jacket.

"My jacket!" I said to myself, as I took it off and pressed it gently to her head. It worked because she wasn't loose blood as quickly, but blood was still on her shirt.

"I'm here, how do I help?" Gavin anxiously asked, as I looked at him. Dried up tears were on my face, as well as dirty and blood.

"She's bleeding out! I don't think it's only from her head though!" I panicked. This was all my fault. I'm such a fuck up, my sister could be seriously hurt because of me.

"Where else could it be?" He asked.

"Shine the flashlight on your phone on her body!" I said to him, as he quickly whipped out his phone. He shined it over her, as I noticed blood on her legs, but some on her stomach.

I pulled her shirt up, as we both gasped.

There was a branch stuck in her stomach. It was implied in her pretty deep. I couldn't pull this out, she needed a real doctor. Gavin noticed this too.

"What do we do? Do we pull it out?" He fearfully questioned me.

"We can't because she might have more organ damage! We need to get her to a doctor!" I said to him. Tears started falling down my face. I knew I had done this to Kiki, she deserved better than me.

"We can't move her up the mountain! That's too risky!" Gavin said to me. He was right, we could drop her or worse, fall down ourselves. I wouldn't care if that happened to me, I deserved to fall down again.

Then, I looked across the river. The river was a medium sized river, it probably lead to one of the mountains. Looking over, I saw that there was the other side of the forest.

Then, I had an idea.

"We need to get her across the river. If we can do that, we can get to a highway or a road! Come on!" I said. It was getting colder, the summer nights were sometimes cold in Idaho. Gavin looked as if he was in a trance.

"Gavin! Come on, we need to help her!" I yelled at him. Tears were visible on his face. There were tears on mine, as the both of us continued to cry.

"Okay, I'll grab her legs! You get here upper body!" Gavin yelled to me. He put his phone in his pocket, as be took Kiki's phone out of her pocket. Her took them both zipping up his jacket pocket.

"Let's go!" I yelled, as I slowly walked backwards into the river. I was holding onto Kiki's upper body. I had tied my jacket around her head. The branch was still impaired in her stomach.

"We don't have much time!" I yelled, as we began to walk faster. As soon as I stepped into the river I started to shiver. The river was freezing in the night. But I continued to walk into it.

The current made it hard for us to walk in. We continued to walk through the river, stepping on any rocks, so we could steady ourselves.

The river began to get deeper as we continued to walk in. Once we were in the middle of the river, the stream hit me hard, as I slipped, still holding Kiki's body.

"Fuck!" I screamed, as I tried to get up. I got up, but another force knocked me over. This time, Gavin tripped also, and we began to flow with the river.

Gavin let out a small scream, as he let go of Kiki's legs. The river started to get deeper. A branch hit me, as I let go of Kiki. She started to flow down the river. Quickly, Gavin and I started to swim towards her.

"Kiki!" Both of us screamed. She was still unconscious. Thinking quickly, I saw faster towards her, as I grabbed her hand. Just in time, because there was a small waterfall. I shut my eyes, expecting Kiki and I to flow down the river.

But I was surprised to know Gavin had grabbed onto my other free hand. We were near the edge of the river, as he placed my hand on the branch. In my other hand I was holding onto Kiki.

I was crying, as I felt my body freeze up. My hands were becoming icicles, but I still held onto Kiki and the branch. Gavin lifted himself up from the river, onto the land.

I passed him Kiki, as he pulled her up from the river and onto the land. I breathed a sigh of relief, as I heard the branch start to crack.

"Shit!" I yelled, as I quickly attempted to get up. Gavin offered me his hand, as I accepted it and pulled myself up from the river with his help.

"Come on, we need to get her help!" I yelled, as we carried her body through the forest.

------

We stumbled out of the forest and near a highway. I recognized this highway, as there were lights on the sides. Gavin recognized this too.

"Quick Gavin, call mom or dad!" I yelled, as he quickly took out his phone. He tried to open it, but it wouldn't work. He then tried Kiki's phone, but both wouldn't open. They were both wet from the river.

On top of that, Kiki's lips were starting to turn blue, and Gavin and I were both shivering.

"Shit! Fuck! No, Kiki! Don't die, please!" I whispered to her, as I sat on the ground and held her body. I started to cry, as Gavin cursed and tried to get the phones to work.

"I'm sorry Kiki, this is my fault. It's all my fault. I did this, you are the best sister I could ask for. Your not perfect, but your one of my best sisters, I love you. It is all my fault, your right. I should of just went in with you, but my fucking stubborn ass couldn't listen to you. I deserve to be the one who should get hurt!" I whispered to her, as tears fell down my face.

"I'm sorry, I should of done better, Kiki. I was a horrible sister and a horrible friend." I said as tears rapidly fell down my cheeks. All the stress hit me, as all my emotions poured out.

"I'm sorry." I whispered, as I stroked her hair and cried.

"Diana look!" Gavin yelled, as he waved to something, trying to get it's attention. The car stopped near us, as the person got out.

"Diana? Gavin?" The voice said, as I looked up. There were tears on my face, and my hair dripped from being wet. My eyes were red, and I had cuts and scratches on my face.

"Charles?"
