Special Point of View:LISA
A few days earlier
"So, are you excited to graduate?" Jackie asked me, as we walked to our gym class. Jackie and I had gym together, and out gym teacher wasn't very happy about that. Considering he already had about five Butler children for his gym class, he had lost faith in us when Kiki was in his class.
My sister was pretty much a legend in this school. How she managed to get into that dance program, I don't even know. And before her, Diana used to mess around in his class but Jackie's sister, Sophia, was a Saint back then.
"Hell yes, finally! We get out of this school, and the dean doesn't keep giving us her side-eye glare!" I exclaimed. The dean despised me even more.
Let's just say, I got into more trouble than my family, except for Jackie and Avia knew about.
"Hey, whose that girl looking at you?" Jackie asked, as I turned around.
At that moment, I knew exactly who she was talking about.
"Oh that's my friend um, Olivia." I spoke, as she looked at me and I sent her a small smile. We continued to stare at each-other before she looked away. Jackie must of caught on what we were doing, because she gave me an understanding look.
"You like her, don't you?" She asked, as I looked down.
The truth was, last year, I had started to feel different about who I liked. I used to like guys, but now, I found myself liking girls more. I don't know if I was gay, or bisexual, because my liking for guys had diminished.
This year, Olivia and I started to talk more and become closer.
The problem was, I'm not sure if my family would accept me. There wasn't a gay person in our family, how would my parents react? How would my siblings react?
The worst was them kicking me out, and I didn't want that.
I just didn't know what to do.
"I do, I like her a lot." I told Jackie, looking down.
All of a sudden, the bell rang, which caused Jackie and I to go down to the locker rooms to change. While we changed, I thought about the conversation Jackie and I had.
"They won't judge you, they'll accept you." Jackie spoke, knocking me out of my trance.
"I don't know Jackie, what if they don't? I'm scared because they'll see me different even though I'm not." I told her, as she grabbed me by my shoulders.
"Hey, I've accepted you. You need to be confident in yourself and no matter what, you will always be my best friend Lisa. There is nothing wrong with being gay." She told me, giving me a hug as I hugged her back.
That talk really did make me feel better.
"Thanks Jackie, glad to know you accept me." I told her.
"You're my cousin and my best friend, I will always accept you." She told me as we walked upstairs to the gym.

A few days later
Walking into Kiki's room, I felt a surge of nervousness overcome me. I had tried to tell Diana when she was here in the morning, but she didn't get the hints. Neither did mom or dad. Dad was still pretty pissed from Diana and Kiki getting fired from their jobs.
"Lisa, what do you want?" Kiki immediately asked as I walked into her room.
Sitting on her bed, I questioned myself if this was the right idea or not.
