Alex's pov
The next day at lunch Mel and I were sitting at our table at lunch when all of the sudden a very smiley Calum walked over to us and sat down beside me.
Following close behind him was Michael and a girl, I assumed was the girl Calum had told me about.
God was she pretty.
I don't know why the Fuxk Whitney would make fun of someone like her.
"Hey" Calum said as he greeted Mel and I.
I smiled at him.
"This is Michael and that's indie" Calum introduced his friends to us.
They both smiled at us.
"Hi I'm Alex and this is Melody" I motioned over at Mel.
"Hi" she said quietly.
"Melody.. Wait aren't you in our math class?" Michael asked.
"Yes actually I've been in the same math class with you guys for four years straight" she laughed.
"You're kidding!" Calum's eyes widened.
"Nope" she shook her head and laughed.
"God I'm so sorry I probably seem like a total ass" Calum apologized.
"Yaaaa" Mel stated.
Calum looked at her.
"I'm just kidding you're not an ass" she laughed.
"I was gonna say" he chuckled.
"So I see Whitney didn't come to school today" I stated when I noticed Whitney wasn't at her usual spot.
"She's probably still crying" Mel rolled her eyes.
"Knowing Whitney she probably stayed home hoping it would get people to forget about me yelling at her yesterday" Calum explained.
"She's ridiculous" I rolled my eyes.
"I'm so glad you guys aren't friends with her anymore" Indie chimmed in.
"Agreed she's a total betch" Michael added.
"True" Calum nodded.

After school Mel and I had to work which I had to admit I was kinda excited about.
I was enjoying our job already even if we had only worked one day.
"Hey Bill!" Mel said as we entered the store.
"Well hello there girls" he smiled brightly at our presence.
We smiled back as we made our way over to him to see what he wanted us to do today.
"I want you guys to meet someone" he told us.
"Ashton! Come meet some of your new co workers!" He yelled.
Seconds later a guy about a year or two older than us came out of the back room, a smile spread across his face as he saw us.
"This is Mel and Alex" Bill stated as he introduced the both of us.
"Nice to meet you guys. I'm Ashton" the boy reached out his hand to offer us a hand shake.
We gladly excepted as we both said 'you too'.
Bill then left us alone.
"So you guys are new to the job huh?" Ashton asked.
"Ya we started Tuesday" I told him.
"How you guys liking it so far?" He questioned.
"It's pretty chill." Mel shrugged.
"Ya it's nice to see the people who come in here buying shet. It's good to know people still care about the older music" he explained.
We both nodded in agreement.
"Well I should probably head back in the storage room to finish unpacking the new stuff we got. I'll see you guys later?"
And with that he walked back to the storage room leaving Mel and I alone again.
"He seems cool" I told her.
Mel nodded in agreement.
