Alex's pov
The next day everyone wouldn't stop talking about some new girl.
I guess she had gone to the school before or at least that's what I got out of hearing everyone gossip.
She must've been popular because everyone was talking about her and by everyone I mean everyone.
When it came time for lunch Mel and I walked into the lunch room and I suggested we should sit somewhere without Calum noticing us.
She agreed and we found a table in the back corner of the cafeteria, away from everyone.
"Hopefully he doesn't see us.. I feel terrible avoiding him, but I really don't trust Whitney." I sighed.
Luckily, Calum and Michael didn't notice us and they sat at our usual lunch table.
"I think you should tell him what she did" Mel insisted.
"But- what if Whitney finds out? What if Calum flips on her again and she takes it out on me.. I mean she already tried killing me" I explained.
"Ya I guess you're right, but I don't think this is gonna work. Calum will try talking to you" Mel stated the obvious.
"I know.. He kept texting me last night and well you seen how he was in math"
She nodded.
"Well I mean he can't help wanting to talk to you" she informed.
"I know but god he's making it harder for me to ignore him" I told her.
"What do you think I should do?" I questioned, hoping she'd know what to do.
I noticed Mel was looking into the distance at something.
I followed her eyes and seen she was looking at Whitney and some chick.
"Fuck" Mel mumbled under her breath.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"She's back..." She pointed out.
"Who's back?" I rose an eyebrow.
"Libby" Mel muttered, I could hear the anger in her voice.
"Who's Libby?" I whispered.
"She use to be my best friend until she got into 'the group' and got all those boyfriends and shet.. Not to mention she stole my boyfriend at the time" Mel went on.
"Anyways she's a fuxking betch so watch out" she added.
She turned back around and continued eating her lunch.
I watched as Libby went over to Calum and began smiling widely at him.
Next thing I knew I could felt myself getting jealous.
I never got jealous..
But i don't know when I seen Libby flirting with Calum it just hit me right in the heart.
The thing was I didn't like Calum..
Or Did I?
Does Alex like Calum?? And what's going on with this Libby betch?
