Alex's pov
The next day i woke up smiling as I replayed what had happened the night before in my head.
It felt good knowing I meant a lot to Calum considering how much he meant to me.
I was in such a good mood that I didn't even have to crawl out of bed.
I practically jumped out of bed without a problem and got ready for school.
I couldn't wait to see Calum.
Last night he had stayed over till about 10 as we discussed random shet and talked about how we would deal with Whitney.
There was no doubt Libby had told Whitney about me calling him last night and well I knew I was in for trouble, but it didn't matter.
If she tried doing something to me I knew Calum would be there.
After getting ready I grabbed my phone off the kitchen counter and pressed the home button to see a message from Calum.
'Can't wait to see you bestie:)'
I smiled as I read the text.
'Back at ya:)'
I sent the text and made my way out to my truck as I got in and started it up.
I plugged my phone into the radio and put it on shuffle.
Born to quit by the used filled my ears as I smiled to myself and backed out of the driveway.
The chorus began as I screamed the lyrics "THE FURTHER YOU GO THE LESS YOU KNOWWW YOU'RE BORN TO QUIT! YOU'VE BLOWN IT! YOU NEED TO LET GO OF LETTING GOOOO! YOU'RE FULL OF SHIT! YOU'RE BORN TO QUIT"
God I loved this song.
Before I knew it I was at school.
I pulled into my parking spot and got out.
As I walked inside the front of the school, my eyes met Calum's making both of us smile widely at one another.
He made his way over to me and nudge me playfully.
"How's it going?" He asked not taking his eyes off me as we continued to walk down the hallway.
"Pretty good" I laughed.
"That's gooood" he smiled and nodded to himself.
"Libby talk to you at all today?" I questioned him.
"Nah thank god" he rolled his eyes at the thought of her.
I shook my head and smiled.
"She's something" I stated.
"You're telling me"
"Alex!" I heard Mel yell.
I turned around to see her running towards us.
"What's up?" I asked.
"We gotta talk!!!" Mel whisper yelled excitedly.
"I'll leave you two alone to talk, see ya in class" Calum stated with a smile.
As he walked away Mel began to speak again.
"So I've been texting Luke all week and he asked me on a date!!" She squealed with excitement.
"Oh my god! That's awesome Mel!" I exclaimed.
"God he's great" she sighed happily.
"He seems sweet" I nodded with a smile.
