Alex's pov
After school I got a text from Calum asking if I was free to work on the project.
'I'm free I'll be there in 20'
I sent the text and grabbed my keys as I locked the door and got into my truck.
I started it up and headed to his house.
When I arrived there I was greeted by his mother again as she didn't say anything and just told me come in.
I smiled at her and I made way upstairs Calum's door was cracked open so I didn't bother knocking and opened it to find him sitting on his bed as he played his bass.
When he noticed I was there he quickly stopped playing and set the bass down beside his bed.
"I didn't know you played" I said.
"Ya.. It's not something I tell people." He shrugged.
"Why? you sounded really good" I exclaimed.
"Well my friends think instruments are stupid and that rap is the only good music" he explained.
"Are you serious?" I asked him.
He nodded.
"Why are you friends with such assholes?" I questioned him.
If my friends were like that I wouldn't want to be apart of that group.
"They've always been that way" he shrugged.
"I don't know how you put up with them" I stated as I sat down beside him and took out my notes of the project.
"Well I mean they aren't all like that.. Michaels cool" he defended him.
"So why don't you and Michael just leave the group?" I asked.
"We just don't want to deal with their shet" he shrugged, getting up and grabbing his notes off his dresser.
"By the way what happened between you and Whitney today?" He asked me as he picked up his bass and put it on its stand.
"Oh we just had a lovely talk" I stated and smiled widely.
He smirked as he looked at me.
"Oh?"
"Ya she pushed me into the lockers so I asked her what her problem was and she said the same thing she said Friday.. That I needed to leave her man alone" I continued blabbering on about what happened and Calum shook his head.
"Then this betch had the nerve to say she would beat the shet outta me so I told her to and she just walked away"
"Whitney won't do shet" he stated.
"You're telling me" I laughed.
We went in discussing how much we hated her and I found myself smiling more than ever.
Maybe Calum wasn't so bad...
~~~~~~~~
By the time we called it a night it was already 8 and I had been there for four hours.
We barely got any work done because we spent most of our time discussing our hatred for Whitney and Tiffany.
And we also talked about bands we liked.
Overall It was nice to see this side of Calum.
As I was about to leave Calum's room he stopped me.
"Hey Alex?" He asked.
I turned around to face him again.
"You're not as bad as I thought you were" he smiled at me.
"Not so bad yourself" I smiled at him before leaving.
There's chapter 9 Ayeee:) hope you liked it!
Much love xx
