Chapter 24: Confess

Alex's pov

I don't know what time I had finally fallen asleep at, but I was woken up the next morning by Mel.

"Alexxxx" she said as she shook me.

"What?" I groaned.

"It's almost 10 in the morning and you're still sleeping" she explained.

"Oh shet" I said quickly sitting up.

She giggled.

"What?" I questioned her.

She pointed at me and laughed even harder.

"Your hair" she finally managed to get out.

I looked at my reflection in my phone and smiled.

"That's what happens when you can't sleep" I told her.

"Why couldn't you sleep?" She asked.

I shrugged.

I wasn't about to tell her Calum and I kissed because I didn't know if it was just me that felt that way towards him and well I wanted to hear about her and Luke's date.

I got up from my bed heading into my bathroom.

"So tell me about this amazing date"

I began brushing my hair and getting ready as she told me everything.

"He was so sweetttt" she exploded with happiness as she spoke.

"And did I tell you that boy is madddd fuxking good at kissing!" She gushed.

"How good was he outta 10?" I asked with a smirk.

"10 outta fuxking 10" she shouted.

I laughed at her.

"Let me tell you that boy could kiss me any time he wanted!" She smirked.

"So you guys officially a thing?" I asked.

She nodded excitedly.

"He popped the question when he brought me home!" She squealed and began jumping up and down.

She couldn't contain her excitement.

I was honestly so happy that my best friend had found someone.

"So anyways enough about me how was work yesterday?" She changed the subject.

"Uh pretty good.. Bill left me alone for an hour and Ashton wasn't working so it was just me" I explained.

"Oh god that must've sucked" she assumed.

"Actually Calum made a surpised visit" I informed her.

Her eyes widened.

"How'd he know you worked there?" She asked.

"He didn't. He just came to get guitar picks" I shrugged.

"He plays guitar??" She rose her eyebrow in confusion.

"Nah bass, but he doesn't want anyone knowing"

"That's cool. Why's he not want anyone knowing?"

"He's afraid he'll get judged" I shrugged.

"He's really good though" I added.

"He played for you?" She questioned excitedly.

"No I walked into his room while he was playing"

"Ahhh gotcha" she nodded.

I was contemplating whether or not to tell her about Calum and I's little trip to get icecream.

Finally it slipped out.

After all I told Mel everything.

"We also went to get icecream yesterday" I mumbled.

"You and Calum did?"

"Yaaa"

"Was this a dateee?" She teased.

"No Mel we just got icecream"

"Who paid?" She asked.

"Whys it matter?" I muttered.

"Oh my god it was a date!" She squealed.

"No it wasn't.. He just payed for me" I explained.

"Uhmm cuz we all know Calum buys icecream for every girl" she said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes.

I sighed.

"So what happened on this date?" She asked with a smirk.

"Well.. We just talked and he brought home afterwards.." I stated.

"Alex" her eyes widened.

"Did he kiss you?" She questioned.

"Nooo"

She gave me a look.

"Ok we almost kissed" I gave in and told her.

Her mouth opened as she jumped up and yelled.

"OH MY GOD ALEXXXX"

"It was nothing I honestly think I was the only one who went for it" I added.

"Bullshet! That boy likes you!" She yelled.

"He really doesn't Mel" I tried to convince her it was nothing.

"Anyways we know Calum likes you. The real question is do you like him?" She asked as she sat back down beside me.

I sat there for a moment and thought about it.

Did I like him?

I mean he made me happy and well I did get butterflies when he touched me yesterday to get the icecream off my nose.

I thought about him all the time..

My eyes widened.

"Mel.. I think I like Calum" I told her worriedly.

Alex finally admitted she liked Calum!!! Ayeee will Calum tell her his feelings???
