Chapter 31: BBQ

Alex's pov

I managed to get everyone to come over my house for a barbecue later on today.

I was just hoping Tyler and Ashton would hit it off as good as I thought they would.

"I can't believe we are secretly being matchmakers" Mel laughed.

"I know" I shook my head at our crazy idea.

"They can thank us later" I joked.

I heard my door bell ring as I jumped off the couch and went to go answer it.

There stood Tyler wearing a cute, black, skater skirt with a white crop top.

She was just making it easier for me to get Ashton and her together.

Little did she know Ashton was going to be swept off his feet as soon as he saw her, especially since she was wearing an outfit that made her even more beautiful than usual (if that was even possible).

"Heyyyy" she said greeting me with a wide smile.

I smiled back as I told her to come inside, shutting the door behind the two of us.

"Hey Tyler" Mel said from the couch.

"So who's coming?" Tyler questioned as she sat down on the couch beside Mel.

"Calum, Michael, indie, Mel's boyfriend Luke, and our friend Ashton" I told her.

"Oh cool" she smiled and nodded.

Within an hour or so later everyone had shown up, but Ashton.

I worried he wasn't going to make it and that we weren't gonna have a chance to get him and Tyler together.

As soon as I took out my phone to text him I heard the sound of my front door opening and looked up to see the smiley boy before me.

"Heyyy sorry I'm late" he apologized, shutting the door behind him as he stepped inside.

"It's okay" I told him, giving him a reassuring smile.

He then made his way over to Mel and I.

"Guys where's th-" Tyler began to ask as she entered the living room.

Stopping as she saw Ashton.

I looked up at him to see his eyebrows rise and his eyes widen as he looked at her.

I knew instantly what he was thinking.

"Oh hi you must be Ashton" she said with a small smile.

"Uh.. yeah that's me" he nodded nervously.

"I'm Tyler it's nice to finally meet you" she stated looking at him with heart eyes.

Our plan was working perfectly.

"You too" he added.

"So Tyler what did you need?" I questioned her interrupting the awkward silence.

"Oh.. Uh I was gonna ask you where your bathroom was" she laughed nervously.

"Down the hallway, last door on the left" I informed her.

She nodded as she made her way down the hallway.

As soon as she was out of sight Ashton quickly ran and sat on the couch beside Mel and I.

We both laughed at him.

"What's up with you?" Mel asked, as she pretended not to know why Ashton was acting this way.

"You guys didn't tell me that there was going to be a girl like that here" he whisper yelled.

"What do you mean a 'girl like that'?" I questioned him as I chuckled at his reaction.

"You know what I mean she's gorgeous! You could've warned en to dress a little decent" he explained.

Mel and I started laughing hysterically.

"Dude calm down I can tell she thought you were attractive too" Mel told him.

"Really?" He asked, his eyes lit up as he smiled excitedly.

"Yes really! now just talk to her and get to know her alright?" I exclaimed.

He nodded and got up making his way to see the boys.

Tonight was going to be fun:)

Hey guys sorry I never update it's just I am so stuck on what to write and it's hard to think of ideas sometimes..
I always wanna start a new story but never finish them it's bad.
