Chapter 6:
A little bell ringed when I entered the little coffeeshop near the swimming hall. I had only been here one or two times after training. There she sat, the brown-eyed girl with the long, wavy hair perfectly spread over her shoulders. How come I've never noticed how beautiful she is?
She smiled and motioned for me to sit in front of her. And I did.
"So tell me all about it", she said as she sipped on a cappuchino. "I thought you had figured it out already". She sighed. "No Noelle, I want to hear everything". It was my turn to sigh. "So how much do you know?". "Pretty much everything until you ran away to the pier"
"Wait, how do you know all about what happened to Gareth?", I asked. She smiled a little. "First of all, Jake is still my brother and we usually talk to each other, and, I was also in love with Gareth, remember?"
"Right. Okay...so after I was told that...you know...he was..."
"Dead", Alisa filled in.
"Dead"
"I was so devastated. So I went to the beach just to clear my thoughts you know. And then I walked to the end of the pier and I got this thought that maybe life wasn't worth living anymore. And so I jumped"
"And then?"
"And then two men, annoying as hell by the way, found me and rescued me", I said as I rolled my eyes.
"Look Noelle, they may have been annoying as hell, but if you saw someone fall down from that pier, would you just watch them drown or would you rescue them?"
"Rescue them", I muttered.
"Exactly. So now that you're all alive and stuff, I think you should enjoy it! It's kind of nice to be alive when you think about it". She continued, "and no disrespect, but now that our beloved Gareth isn't here, you and I have no reason to fight"
I guess she was right. Although I miss him like crazy I guess I just have to move on as fast as I can.
"He's gone for good and there's nothing we can do about it. No one can. So we better just live the life we were supposed to and make the best of it", she said and placed her hand over mine.
"When did you get all wise and stuff?", I giggled. She wiggled her eyebrows. "It's a secret". "No Alisa, tell me!". "Okay, okay. If you swim to the bottom of the pool there's a portal that opens, but only if you say the magic word. While in there..."
"Alisa!", I laughed and slapped her hand.
She chuckled. "Let's go to my house!"
And so we did. Luckily, Jake weren't home. I wasn't in the mood to meet him right now.
We laid on Alisa's huge bed and just played around. "So...", she started. "So?" I answered. "So tell me about those men that saved you"
"Well there's not much to say actually. They were maybe around 25 or more and they came to visit me at the hospital, but I yelled at them so they disappeared"
"Were they hot?", she asked, her eyes glowing. I laughed at her. "They weren't ugly but I would not use the word hot. I don't really remember actually"
"Oh", she sighed. "You wanna listen to some music?"
"Sure"
Alisa jumped off the bed and plugged her phone into a speaker. The first song to play was an unfamiliar tune. "What's this?", I asked as Alisa hummed to the song. She froze. "You haven't heard Coldplay?!"
I tried my best to recall if I had heard the name before but nothing came to my mind. "Guess not"
"My god Noelle. They're famous!"
"But...I'm not into music that much"
"You have to listen to them! They're so good! I know every song and they're recording their third album right now. Actually I know Samantha, the guitarist's fiancé. The guitarist is called Jonny by the way. But me and Samantha actually met here in Edinburgh two years ago at a summer camp"
"What did you say was the name of the band? I forgot"
Alisa whined. "It's Coldplay, Noelle. Cold-play"
"Sure, I'll look it up"
The more we listened, the more I actually liked it. The singer had a nice voice. It was unique. I liked it.
But as all days, it was coming to it's end. And my mom would of course call me to see that I haven't died on my day out. I ended up spending the night in Alisas bed, giggling about all funny things in the world.

A/N:
Not the longest chapter in history, I know. But atleast I wrote something! And I'm finally on summer break so I hope to be able to write more often.
(I chose the gif just because I love it, not because it has anything to do with the chapter)
