Akira's POV
I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I grabbed it and answered.
"Good morning," Tsukishima-kun said.
"Hey," I answered before stifling a yawn. "What's up?"
"Daichi-san's asking what time they could drop by the cafe. They said they wanted to see you work."
Oh thank heavens, today's my lucky day.
"I actually have the cafe all to myself today," I answered sleepily. "The owner is out with her family today so we all got the day off. You guys can come in any time."
"Right, I'll see you later then. Oh, and I got you something."
He immediately hung up, leaving me to wonder what he meant by "something."
I washed up and changed into a loose sweater, shorts, some knee high socks, and put on a pair of sneakers. Comfort is always best. I headed down to the cafe kitchen and started making cake batter. About an hour later, I was done with the first two cakes and was cooking up a batch of cookies. The team was knocking on the cafe door and I opened up for them to come in.
"Wait, isn't this a cosplay cafe?" Tanaka-san muttered, squinting as he looked around.
"You've been here?" Asahi-san asked.
"Now that I think about it, do you work here as a waitress or do you work in the kitchen?" Tsukishima-kun followed.
"Uhh, both," I said. "I fill in wherever they need me but I'm usually working out on the field."
"The field?"
"I-it's what they call the open space. They call the kitchen the headquarters and my room upstairs is the bunker, for some reason. Oh, please, sit down!"
They sat down on the empty seats and I turned on the television we had hanging on the wall to keep them busy. I patted down my hands on my apron and grabbed some menus from the cashier counter and handed them to the team.
"Lunch is on the house for everyone, along with dessert," I said with a smile. "Go on ahead and take a look. I'll take your orders when you're ready. I'll go get you some water in the meantime."

"This actually suits you, Aki-chan," Daichi-senpai said as I came out of the kitchen holding trays with glasses of water and iced tea on top.
"R-really?" I asked, setting down the glasses in front of them. "I guess I just got used to it."
"So what exactly do you guys cosplay here?" Hinata asked, eyes darting around the cafe. It was a great place, to be honest. The walls were paintes "I never took you for a cosplayer!"
"Uhh.. It's actually really embarrassing..." she muttered, tucking her hair behind her eat.
"Oh come on, it can't be that bad!"
"W-well, we usually have theme days every once in a while but other than that, this is just a normal cafe," she answered.
"Aki-chan," Shimizu-san said. "You should show them your uniform."
"No," she immediately answered. "Not in a million years."
"Why not?" Noya-san yelled.
"Because I said so," I said with a sigh. "Anyways, what do you guys want for lunch?"
"Hmm... Are you sure you're good at cooking?" Tsukishima asked with a smirk. "I can't expect much from a girl who mostly cooks instant ramen for herself."
