Akira's POV
"I hate this," I complained as Tsukishima pushed me out of the hospital on a wheel chair.
"Aren't you glad you get to be pushed around?" He asked, letting out a small laugh. "You really are a damsel in distress, you know?"
"Oh shut up," I said, rolling my eyes before letting out a sigh. "I'll have to walk around school with crutches tomorrow. As if my body isn't tired enough from the tournament."
It was Sunday and I was released before dinner time. My leg still hurts enough for me to flinch in pain when I apply some pressure to it, but it should be healed up within a week.
"What's the club planning to do now that the tournament is over?" Tsuki asked.
"Probably focus on the sports festival then training after it," I said. "Speaking of which, how the hell am I gonna help out with the preparations if I'm stuck in a damn wheelchair?!"
"Just roll with it?"
"Did you just-"
"Oh hey look it's our cab!"
I let out a sigh as we got into the cab. Tsukishima immediately gave the address of his place.
"Why not my place?" I asked.
"As if I'm letting you stay in that shoe box of yours while you have an injured leg," he said, rolling his eyes. "Besides, the old lady already brought some of your stuff from your place a while ago while we were at the hospital. You'll be staying at my place for a while until you recover."
"Fine," I said, letting out a yawn.
Staying at the hospital was really tiring, even if it was just for a day. I wanted nothing else but to get in bed and sleep.
We got off the car and Tsukishima carried me to his room, leaving the wheelchair by the door.
"Hungry?" He asked. "We haven't eaten dinner yet."
"It's still pretty early for dinner," I told him. "I just want to rest honestly."
"Then you'll do just that." He laid me on the bed and I sighed as the warm cushion swallowed me up. "You should get out of those clothes though, you were wearing them in the hospital, it's not sanitary."
"I can't really stand up and change though," I complained. He sighed and went to his closet, taking out one of his shirts and one of my shorts that I forgot I left here, placing them on the bed. Then he walked out of the room and came back with a small basin filled with water and a small towel.
Is this seriously happening right now?
"How's your leg feeling?" He asked as he tied up my hair.
"The back of my knee still hurts but the bruise on my calf looks like it disappeared quickly," I said, checking my leg. "I can feel the pain all over my leg when I move it though."
"Shirt, off," he said. I raised a brow and looked at him weirdly. He just rolled his eyes and waited.
"Pervert," I said, sticking out my tongue and he simply pinched my cheek. I took off my shirt, leaving my bra on, and he wiped my back with the wet towel, along with my arms. I handled the front part of course.
The worse part was having to take off my shorts since I had to move my leg.
"Ow!" I flinched as Tsukishima carefully slipped my shorts down.
"Hang in there," he said. A couple more flinches later, it was finally off. "Looks like a bruise is forming. Let's ice this later."
He carefully wiped my legs as well and helped me get into the clothes he took out before letting me lay on the bed.
"What do you want for dinner?" He asked. I sighed and hugged one of the pillows.
"Katsudon?" I said. He patted my head then walked out of the room and I quickly fell asleep.

Tsukishima's POV
The boundary line between me and that little girl is slowly fading away. I leaned on my closed door and let out a sigh.
"You look like you've seen something you shouldn't have," Akiteru, my brother, said. "Your face is beet red!"
"Keep your voice down," I said, rolling my eyes. "Aki's sleeping."
"What's with the basin-... Oh, now I understand," he said, letting out a small laugh. "You cute little couple. Make sure that I'm the best man at your wedding, okay?"
"Stop talking non-sense," I told him. I walked into the bathroom to leave the basin then headed for the kitchen where Akiteru was searching the kitchen for food to cook.
"Mom's out of town with some college friends of hers," he said. "We'll be alone for the week."
"You're not heading back to school?" I asked.
"Renovations are going down so we got the week off," he said. "Now what are we cooking for dinner?"
"Katsudon," I said, taking out the meat to thaw.
"Aki's request?" He asked and I nodded. "Alright."
He helped me prepare for dinner then he suddenly popped a question.
"Kei," he said. "How's Aki been sleeping lately?"
"She's been exhausted from training lately so she's dead asleep most of the time, but she does have a couple nightmares here and there," I told him. "Speaking of which..."
"What?" He asked, facing me as he leaned on the counter.
"When I was washing down her back a while ago, I saw a couple of weird scars," I said.
"What kind of scars?"
"Like small scratches and cuts here and there... I didn't really ask her about it but do you think it has something to do with all those nightmares she's been having?"
"Maybe," he said, letting out a sigh. "I'm genuinely worried for that kid. This isn't exactly something that we can pry into, but she got signed into that company, right?"
"Yeah. They paid for her treatment too," I said.
"Well, here's to hoping things turn around for her."
