New Beginnings

Chapter 5: Articuno

                  

Finally, we arrived to where the cry was coming from and I saw three very familiar people standing around a beautiful blue Bird Pokemon.

"Hey what do you three think you're doing?" I asked and they froze when they heard my voice.

"Prepare for trouble." Jesse turned towards me.

"And make it double." James turned. I rolled my eyes.

"To protect the world from devastation."

"To unite all peoples within our nation."

"To denounce the evils of truth and love."

"To extend our reach to the stars above."

"Jesse."

"James."

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light."

"Surrender now or prepare to fight."

"Meowth that's right."

I sighed.

"Don't you three ever get tired of saying that over and over again? It doesn't matter. Whatever you plan to do with that Pokemon it can't be good, so leave now before you get hurt again." They laughed.

"The last time we saw you, you were coughing your lungs out in Koffing's poisonous gas. The only thing that stopped us was a stupid Pidgeot." James said smirking.

"Oh really then tell me. Who is this Pokemon?" That's when Celebi appeared from its pokeball and on to my shoulder. Their jaws dropped. 

"You mean that Pidgeot was yours?!" I giggled.

"You could say that."  I looked at the Pokemon, it looked like it was in pain, but watching carefully for its chance to escape.

"Umbreon, I think you and Celebi should distract them and that will give me enough time to free that Pokemon." Celebi looked at me and then the Pokemon.

"That Pokemon's name is Articuno. It's the Legendary Bird Pokemon of Ice. I don't know why she's here though. They must have chased her all the way here and then when she was too weak to move another muscle they surrounded her and tried to catch her in that trap." She explained and I looked at Articuno.

"Then that just gives us one more reason to save her from them." I stated. They both nodded swiftly and we split up quickly.

"What do you think you're doing?" James asked as I rushed behind a tree and changed into a Pidgeot again.

"Not that stupid bird again. James deal with it." Jesse said and Koffing was brought out in a second, but this time Umbreon was on it in seconds and blasting it sky high. I rushed to Articuno's side.

"I'll save you I promise. Then the second you're free, fly far away from here." She nodded. I slashed the restraints that were holding her to the ground and in seconds she was up in the air, flying away.

"No, that Pidgeot again!" Jesse said and that's when Ekans bite my wing. I felt an immense amount of pain, making me cry out.

"Kat!" I heard and that's when I saw Pikachu, Ash, Misty, Brock and Gary come rushing out of the trees.

"Go Starmie!"

"Go Pikachu!"

"Go Geodude!"

"Go Eevee!" I watched as everyone's Pokemon came out and I had never been more grateful to see them in all my life.

"Thank you all so much..." I muttered as my body faded back to normal and Team Rocket was left shocked.

"A girl who can change into Pokemon..." James muttered.
