what is hope?
once
a girl told me that it is dangerous to drink milk, or something from a can.
Because if you're drinking milk, there could be a bug in it, and you wouldn't see. And when you're drinking from a can, you cannot see the contents that you are drinking.
She told me that whenever she drinks milk or from a can, she can feel the little bit of fear that she is consuming something dangerous.
But she drinks anyways, because the rest of her tells her that she is not in danger, and there is not a bug in her drink.
That is how I get through my day.
I have that little fear that something is wrong, or something bad will happen.
But I push those thoughts away and 'drink' the day.
That's what hope is.
