ROSE'S POV-

We had the chauffeur drop us off at our designated apparating spot to go to the United States. Just like our families, he believes we would be apparating to the US. He drove away. "Where should we go?" Scorpius asked. "We could go to Warmen Trails. At least, until we get a proper plan." I suggested. Ok, sounds good." He said. He grabbed my hand and we apparated.

After having anded in the living room with a thud we stood up and looked around. The place was trashed. Chairs turned over, drawers ripped open, their contents covering the floor, windows open, glass shattered, and pillows ripped to shreds. "What happened here?" I said in shock. "Lucius." Scorpius muttered angrily. "Should we start straitening it up?" I asked. As soon as the words left my mouth we heard footsteps thundering down the stairs. I pulled out my wand and the door was thrown open. 4 masked men burst into the room. My heart caught in my throat and I looked over to Scorpius. His wand was already out and he looked determined. Curses started flying left and right. Making sure to stay aware of Scorpius's presence next to me I started dueling two of the men.

Red, blue, and green flashes of light filled the room. As much as I hated to admit it, I was losing. A curse grazed my arm and pain rippled through me. I felt warm blood trickling down it, but I kept going. Next to me I heard someone falling to the floor. Fear pulsed through me and I stopped battling. Scorpius was on the ground and the men he had been dueling walked towards him. Dashing to his side I grabbed his hand and apparated away. Right as the air started to twist a curse was shot at me.

We landed on the ground of a forest and something hit my leg. A scream escaped me and I looked down to see it was covered in blood. The curse that had been shot at me must have travled with us when we apparated. Putting my pain aside I crawled over to where Scorpius was lying. There was no blood so I figured he'd been hit with a stunning spell. I knew he'd be fine so I started examining the area I had landed in. I was right on the edge of a forest by a large lake. This is were my dad attempted to teach me to ride a broom. I figured I'd start putting up the tent. Pulling it from my bag I used my wand to set it up. I then cast a few spells around it so no one could see it or hear us. I suddenly felt a rush of exhilaration. I was doing exactly what my parents had done all those years ago. Running from a dark wizard and trying to save the world. The difference is that the world doesn't know it needs saving. At least, not yet. Scorpius was still out cold and I didn't even want to try and move him. I sat on a tree stump and examined my wounds.

My arm was caked in dry blood and my leg was still gushing. Deciding the open wound should be my first priority, I reached into the bag I brought and pulled out some medical supplies. I knew Scorpius would be better at doctoring me, but he was unconscious. I poured a healing potion over my leg and winced at the burning sensation. I then wrapped it with a cloth bandage. After that, I cleaned the dry blood from my arm and wrapped another bandage over the cut. A few minutes late I heard a groan from where Scorpius was lying. He sat up and rubbed his head which was slightly bruised from falling earlier. "What happened?" He asked groggily.

"You were stunned. I apparated us out and now we're here." I said, still bandaging my arm. "What happened to you?" He asked as he walked over to me. "Nothing. Just hit by a few curses. Nothing major." I said. "Where are we?" He asked. "A forest ." I said blandly. "Really? I hadn't noticed." He said sarcastically. Ignoring him I continued to bandage my arm. "What's up with you?" He asked. "Nothing. I just don't know what we're going to do." I said. "What do you mean by that?" He asked. "Today just proved how unprepared we are. We walked right into a trap. Does that not prove our stupidity?" I said exasperated. "We aren't stupid, Rose. We had no way of knowing Lucius would have people waiting for us." He said. "That's exactly what I'm saying! We had no way of knowing, but we should of known. We should of planned more and figured out what exactly we were going to do. As of now, we have no plan to take down Lucius. We are probably going to end up doing the same bloody thing we did tonight. Walk in blindly. And that is why we are stupid." I cried
