ROSE'S POV-

"Rose, please get out of bed." Scorpius begged. "No." I said as I pushed my head farther into my pillow. "You can't lay in bed forever." He said. "Why?" I whined. "We need to keep working. Come on!" He pleaded angrily. Lifting my head to meet his eyes I sighed. "Al is dead. There's not a point." I said. Trying not to cry I stuffed my head back into the pillow. "We don't know that! For all we know Lucius could be conning us." He reasoned. I ignored him. He sighed deeply and I knew he was becoming frustrated. "Rose, my father is dead. As in, no longer living. And it sucks. Trust me. It really, really, sucks. And I constantly have this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. But you know what else it makes me feel? Pissed. It makes me feel so bloody pissed because Lucius has it in his head that he can come in and try to ruin my life. Well, guess what? I'm not going to let him do that and you're not either. Now, get up and start helping me." He command.

Finally sitting up I wiped my eyes and glared at him. "There. I'm up. What do you need help with?" I asked. "Well, I think we should figure out are next move." He answered. "How can we make a "next move" if we don't have any leads?" I exclaimed. "I don't exactly know. But we'll figure it out." He said. I glared at him silently. "Ok, let's just go over things. Lucius made the Pheronixon, used it to kill people, and got locked up in Azkaban. He's been out for almost a year and now has a time turner. We don't know why he has the time turner but I'm assuming it has something to do with the pheronixon and-" He didn't finish his sentence because his eyes rolled into the back of his head and he collapsed.

"Scorpius!" I shrieked. I rushed to his side and started to shake him. After a moment his eyes flashed open and his inhaled deeply. "Where are we?" He asked groggily. "Some motel in Wales. You brought us here. Remember?" I asked. He shook his head. "Why are we in a motel?" He asked. At a loss for words I looked at him intently. He shook his head a little bit and a weird look crossed over his face. "I was just kidding. I know why we're here." He said with a smile. "Are you sure? You've been doing things like this a lot lately." I said anxiously. "Yeah, I just want to keep you on your toes." He said with a wink. Shrugging it off a though popped into my head.

"All known time turners were destroyed when  part of Dumbledore's Army crashed the ministry right?" I asked. He nodded. "So why after all these years would they suddenly make another one. Unless there was a specific request then there really wasn't a need." I stated. Scorpius's eyes light up as he saw what I was getting at. "And when you request something like that you have to talk to the head of the Department of Magical Transportation. So maybe we can try to get an interview with him or her." Scorpius said. "I don't think that's going to be much of a problem." I said with a blush. "Why is that?" He asked. "The head of the department is actually my Uncle Percy." I said with a smile. "Is everybody in the whole bloody ministry related to you?" He asked with a laugh. "I guess so." I said with a shrug.

"Ok, so we're going to need a cover story to get a meeting with him." Said Scorp. "Yes. And we're also going to need one for us not coming back home." I said. "I would just say we shouldn't tell them anything. But that'd probably mess my mum up even more." He said with a sigh. "Ok, it seems simple enough. We just need to come up with a reason why we can't come home at all." I said. "Actually, it doesn't sound easy at all." He snapped. "Stop!" I practically yelled. "Stop what?" He yelled back. "Stop trying to pick a fight." I begged. "I am sick and tired of fighting with you. It's all we do! And I get it, things are hard right now. But I was just trying to have a civil conversation and you snapped. Please, let's not fight." I said desperately. He looked at the ground guiltily. "I'm sorry." He said. "It's fine. Now can we please just figure out what we're going to tell our families?" I asked.

"We could say one of us got hurt." He suggested. "That'd just worry them." I answered "We could say we're extending our honeymoon?" I  said. "That could work. But they'd know something's up if we were to extend it through my fathers funeral."  He said. "You're right. What if we said one of us got a really good job offer in the U.S" I said. "I like that. But what if they ask why we can't take off for the funeral." He said. "We say the hours are to crazy in the beginning. And then-" I stopped mid sentence. "What's wrong?" He asked.
