ROSE'S POV-

I woke up feeling extremely disoriented. It wasn't until I looked around the room that I realized that I was in Al's bed and last night's events came flooding back to me. Scorpius was gone. Every time the thought entered my head it hit my like a blow to the gut. Pushing all thoughts of Scorpius to the back of my mind I looked around the room a little bit more to see Al and Alice asleep on the floor. Teddy and Vic must have gone home. Below me Al started to stir and looked up at me groggily.

"Oh, you're up." He said as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes. He shook Alice a little bit and she sat up too. "We need to write to Vic." She slurred sleepily. Al nodded and crossed the room to get a piece of parchment and quill. "What are you writing her for?" I asked. "Your knee is worse than she originally thought. She said to owl her when you woke up so she could sneak in and heal it. She's going to bring supplies this time." He said as he started to write. "Why does she need to sneak in?" I asked confused. "Nobody knows you're here. We didn't tell them in case you didn't want us to." Al said as she moved over to Al and pecked him on the cheek. "I'm gonna go downstairs and get some food. I'll just say Al's not feeling well and wanted to eat in here." She said as she left.

Out of nowhere I got the overwhelming sensation that I was going to throw up. Putting my hands over my mouth I caught Al's eye and motioned to my knee. It was still broken so I couldn't run to the bathroom. As if he knew it was coming he grabbed a bucket from across the room and handed it to me. Grabbing it from his hands I began to throw up uncontrollably. Once I was finally able to stop I grabbed my wand and made the bucket disappear. I didn't want to look at it anymore.

Groaning I flopped backwards on the bed. "Throwing up is a side effect to the medicine." Al said. "What medicine?" I asked. "After you went to sleep Vic gave you something to help with the pain. She said throwing up might be one of the side effects. It should only last a few hours" He explained. "I'm back with the food!" Alice called as she came in carrying soup. The smell made my stomach churn and I conjured another bowl and started to throw up some more.

Setting the bowl aside I layed back down and sighed. "I don't think I'm hungry anymore." I said. With a flick of his wand Al vanished the soup and the smell was gone. "I owled Vic when I was downstairs. She'll be here soon." Alice said comfortingly. Not even seconds later Vic popped in holding a bunch of medical supplies. "Hey, Rose. How're you feeling?" She asked as she came to sit by me. I rolled my eyes. "The bloody medicine you gave me is making me throw up." I said.

"That was only supposed to last about an hour after I gave it to you." She said. "I'm sure it's fine though. Maybe it's just a lasting effect." She said as she started to examine my knee. "Yeah, it's still broken. The break was worse than I thought so I'll just have to use a different spell. It's going to hurt though so just be prepared." I nodded and squeezed Al's hand again as she murmured the incantation. Trying to suppress a scream I swallowed and heard a crunch as my bones clicked back in place.

The pain must of set something off because I soon as the healing was over I reached for the bowl and started to throw up again. "I hate throwing up." I said as I slumped backwards. "Maybe you're just getting sick." Alice suggested. "Yeah, maybe." I said.

Vic left after a little bit to get back to Teddy and Claire leaving me with Al and Alice. Before she left Vic asked us to keep her posted on my "sickness". As the day went on I stayed nauseous and threw up off and on. Al and Alice kept my whereabouts a secret from the family per my request. I just didn't want to deal with answering questions about Scorpius. Eventually I fell asleep and my thoughts of Scorpius were put to rest.

According to the muggle digital clock next to me, the next time I woke up was around 3:00 A.M. I suddenly felt nauseous and without thinking sprinted out of bed into the bathroom. Not even thinking about my knee pain shot up it and I had to refrain from screaming. Praying that nobody could hear me I bent over the toilet and proceeded to throw up. I heard footsteps and the door cracked open. It was just Alice. Silently she crept in and cast a muffliato charm.
