"So dapat 1 week ka lang talaga dito? Parang gusto kong mag thank you sa boss mo dahil binigyan ka nang project dito." Nakangiting sabi ni Grace
"Ang lakas palang kumain ni Calyx no?" Tila aliw na aliw na sabi ni Sophie
"Ay oo. Kung alam nyo lang, pero okay na din healthy food naman madalas ang hinahanap nya." Nakangiti kong sabi
"Mommy are we going to roam around here in the Philippines?" Calyx suddenly asked
"Uhm where do you wanna go? Ninang will bring you there!" Masayang sabi ni Grace
"Really ninang? Uhmmmm, I wann go meet my dad! I know he's here!" Bigla naman akong nasamid matapos kong marinig anh sinabi ni Calyx. I didn't expect that. Nang tingnan ko ang mga kasama ko ay nakatitig lang din sila kay Calyx. It's not just me, lahat kami ay hindi inexpect yon.
"W-what are you s-saying Calyx?" Kinakabahan kong tanong
"I asked grandpa about my dad because my friends always ask me why they don't see him." Simpleng sagot ni Calyx
"Why didn't you asked me instead?" Mahinahon kong tanong
"Mommy I know you won't answer me. Even lolo he don't want to answer me, he just told me that my dad is in the Philippines that's why I wanted to go here" Calyx answered before he took a spoon full of desert. Hindi ako nakakibo sa sagot ng anak ko. Nanatili lang akong nakatitig sa kanya habang kumakain siya
"Infairness sa anak mo, parang di 4 years old kung mag salita at mag isip." Bulong ni Grace sa akin
"I don't think that that's a good thing in a situation like this." Iiling iling kong sagot
"You decide Ina, it's either pagkaitan mo ang anak mo ng pag kakataon or give him the chance that he deserves." Renz said
Hanggang sa maihatid kami ni Renz sa hotel ay patuloy ko pa ring iniisip ang mga nangyari ngayong araw. Nagkita na si Calyx at Ethan, I should be afraid by now pero ayoko namang pagkaitan ang anak ko sa bagay na kaya ko namang ibigay sa kanya.
"Mom are you mad at me?" Calyx suddenly asked when we're sitting at the balcony of the hotel room
"Why should I be mad at you?" I asked
"Because I asked lolo about my dad." Sabi niya
"I'm not mad at you baby, but you should talked to me first if you wanna now about him" I said
"Is it okay to you if I wanna meet my dad?" Napapikit ako sa inosenteng tanong ni Calyx. "But it's okay if you don't want, I don't wanna see you sad." Agad niyang dagdag
"Why do you think that I will be sad?" I asked him. My eyes are starting to water
"Because I heard you talking to lola before we go here. You told her that you don't want to see my dad because it will hurt you." I remember that night when I talked to my mom about the possibility of meeting Ethan here.
"Baby, mom can do anything for you. Even if it will hurt me, I'll do everything just to make you happy." I emotionally said
"Don't cry mom. Even I meet my dad my love for you wont change" kumalong pa sa akin si Calyx para punasan ang luha ko na ayaw tumigil sa pag tulo
"Remember that Mom will always do everything just to give you the life that you deserve. I may not give you a complete family but I know that you'll understand that when you grow up." I told him and kissed him on his temple
