Miah's POV:

After mom's spiel with why she told dad about the upcoming marriage. I told Chris that I would call my

dad while he called his to explain what was going on. We decided to tell them both that I was going

to go to Chris's school for the rest of the year and at the end we want to get married.

"How do we explain this sudden decision of you wanting to go to my school and you wanting to marry

me?" Chris asked

"Well, we can tell them that we had made a promise when we were young and after meeting again

we decided to keep the promise"

"Okay, that could work" Chris said thoughtfully

Chris's Pov:

Chris hung up his cell phone and took a deep breath. That worked better than he thought it would,

after explaining to his dad what had happened and what Miah and him decided. His dad had been very

surprised but seemed fine with the idea, voicing that if anything went wrong there was still a year to

make the final decision. Chris mused at Miah's expression as she gave her last words to her dad then

looked up at him.

"Well, now that our dads know our decision, we need to tackle our mothers" Miah said between a bite

of French toast

"Alright, how about we do that next? After we eat" I replied over my own bite of french toast

-Yeah! I'm starving! Bob said enthusiastically

Hey, when did you get here? I thought

-Mmm...just a minute and three seconds ago but I waited until you were done talking to Miah before I

made my amazingly awesome and magnificent presence known Bob said while pushing out his chest

Why does it seem like you keep running off to do something every now and then? Aren't you

supposed to...I don't know...BE here? I mentally argued

-Snort...I AM here! Duh, who else would you be talking to? Bob said confidently

What about the times when you aren't here? I wondered

-I will NOT watch you while you are taking a SHOWER!! I REFUSE!!! Bob said horrifyingly

-Right! You just want me to be around you ALL the time! While you are taking a shower, maybe a

bubble bath or when you are getting dressed! I am not some slave! I will not be some perverse

BOOTY call for you! I have a LIFE!!! Bob huffed
