Just as I was about to ask Miah if she wanted me to grab the ointment now, seeing as Chris wasn’t relaxing from his stiff position of glaring at the table, my phone rang.

Hello? Oh, hi dad.

Yes, I’m looking at her right now.

No, I’m not ready to come back yet.

Yes! I will be coming back!

No! Not yet!

You can handle this without me!

Oh yes you can! Now get back in there and elaborate better what you want them to do and how you want them to pose.

Go on, you can do it!

I’m hanging up now.

I looked up and my eyes landed on Miah who was giving me a knowing, kind look which helped more than she probably realized.

Chris was giving me a weirded out look, as if I just told him that I wore a dress and painted my nails pink…which was the craziest thing that I could think of…(shudder) I HATE that color! (Shudder) NO Thank you, I would rather rip my nails off with a rusty nail file!

I looked up as Chris began to speak…

“Wait! I think I’ve seen you somewhere before!” Chris gave me a confused look, trying to remember where it was that he had spotted me

I gave him the smallest of smirks, really just a turn of the right corner of my mouth, “Well we both live in the same town…” I paused for effect, “and go to the same school” I watched the look of surprise on his face….Yeah, it was hard to get enrolled in his school, they only let in a handful at a given time.

“Still can't remember me? Then I believe I know the encounter that might jog your memory” I gave him a slight smile

Do you remember a day like any other, you were running away from yet another crowd of girls trying to get your attention. One in particular was smart enough to wait for you to turn a corner where she had been hiding and tackled you to the ground. I was close by and saw what happened, so I went up to you both and separated her from you before she had a chance to do anything else.

I gave a shrug. Yep, that about sums it up.

Chris gave me a confused look, then, as if a light bulb lit up, “That was you?? You stopped that girl right before she had a chance to start locking lips with me and made out with her instead!”

I crossed my arms and gave him a slightly annoyed look, “yeah, it took me the whole day to get her to leave me alone”

Miah patted my arm, “I remember that, you texted me about it, it was the first time you let yourself complain about something.”

I turned to Miah and gave her a smile to show her my gratitude for all that she had helped me with, the only one I had felt comfortable enough to open up to.

Chris was giving me an annoyed look which I was happy about.

 I opened my mouth to say something to make Chris even more annoyed when my phone rang again…

“Hello?”

“Oh, hi dad”

“No I’m still talking to Miah”

“I told you that it might take a while, I haven’t met her face to face till now”

“I’m sure that eventually she would like to see the set, but not after just meeting me”

“Fine! I will ask!”

I turned to Miah and Chris, “Would you guys like to go see the photoset and meet my dad?”

Miah looked up at me full of excitement, “Sure!”

Chris looked as if he was about to protest but Miah gave him a look that stopped him from saying anything.

I looked at both of them, worry as well as many other emotions swirling through my mind, “Great, this will definitely be interesting”

Chris just nodded his head

Oooh, now this is going to be fun! Bob rubbed his hands together as an evil grin split his face

Ahh...nothing. Bob paused, Excpet that Heaven's dad is CRAZY!!!

I'm sure you don't really mean that...his dad is just...umm...excentric....and uhhh.....very artistic...... he really is a delightful person once you get to know him!

Bob snorted, yeah right, then Heaven is STILL getting to know him if that's the case, don't get me wrong, the man's not evil... just has a screw loose if you ask me...

Anyway...

I know, you miss my personal presence in the story line but I felt that Chris needed some time away from me to realize how much he actually NEEDS me and can't live a smooth life without me!

Yes I know, I bet he is just wishing that I will come back! Bob wiped away a tear
