Snap Shot!

Chris’s POV:

I knew it! This had to have been his plan all along!

I knew Heaven was up to no good! This has to be some kind of evil plan to try and kidnap Miah!

I know how those Internet friendships work!

Now Miah will finally get to see exactly how evil Heaven really is! Of course I’ll just have to stand by her side until she realizes this, but once she figures it out… Man, I’ll be the only guy that she will want to be around and Heaven will be out of the picture!

I looked over at Miah who was behind the wheel, following Heaven’s truck (all the easier to dispose of the bodies). She kept glancing towards me then quickly turning back to the road for some reason, so the next time I caught her at it I gave her my best reassuring smiles.

Miah’s POV:

Chris is acting very strange.

I first thought that he was just starting to see Heaven as a good guy, especially since Heaven had helped him out in the past but I quickly realized that that wasn’t the case. Chris looked like Heaven was only confirming that he was even worse than his fears and for some even stranger reason, looked happy about it!

OH GOSH!!! Chris just gave me this evil snarly look with his eyes all bright and shiny like those horror movie villains! Maybe I should take him back home and go see Heaven’s dad without Chris… I think the stress is getting to Chris a bit too much!

Too late… Chris insists that he wants to join Heaven and I to see Heaven's father, sigh... hopefully I can just keep an eye on him and he won’t cause too much trouble!

Heaven’s POV:

Great! To think that I would finally get some time away from that man and enjoy seeing Bumble Bee for the first time and he has to barge in, not let me forget where I stand, to not let me fantasize about being normal for just one day…

Oh well… Miah already knows about it and has said that she accepts me, she might as well see the reality and Chris… well it wasn’t like there wasn’t any chance of him liking me anyway…

At the Photo Shoot:

I watched as Chris’s eyes darted from place to place, an inner war with himself, wanting to mistrust yet also not being able to help admiring and thinking some of the props and displays were really cool. Miah on the other hand looked at everything with a calm interest yet an underlying sense of apprehension, most likely for me, seeing as she knew exactly how I felt about this place, my cage.

I found the area they were working in, the same old thing that to me looked simple enough but by the looks of the models, they were all at their wits end at trying to appease my old man. I quickly walked up to him and felt my facial expressions, my posture, even my gait change into the personality that my father needed.

“Dad, what is the problem?”

My father looked at me with relieved eyes, knowing that with my appearance, everything will be resolved.

He huffed, “The problem is that these models don’t know how to give me what I want! I ask for emotion and they give me blank stares! I ask for a look of yearning, for want, as if their love is just beyond their reach and instead they give me puppy love! Love that is just fleeting! How am I to work with that!”

My inner self sighed, such a simple thing yet he couldn’t even direct the models to do this while I was away?? I resisted the urge to pinch the bridge of my nose or show any sign that I was aggravated.
