(Four)

This was crazy. It wasn't that I was scared of ghosts, but more of I did not want to break the law. It was a private cemetery that clearly states the time for visitations. In short, we were trespassing. Okay maybe I was a bit spooked out as well.

"Guys, isn't this considered trespassing?" I asked.

"That's what makes it fun Damon. Jeez, don't be such a party pooper." Jay said.

"I didn't say I wasn't down for this, was just considering..." I said.

"That's the spirit!" Audris said.

"Okay, I'm scared guys..." Rachel said. She looked so cute, like a lost puppy in the city.

"It's going to be fun Rachel! Damon, you're with Rachel alright?" Audris said.

"Sure." I replied.

"Alright, this game is called 'find the dead guy.' Basically, we agree on a name of a person, a unique one, and we are supposed to look for a gravestone which has that name on it. Winner goes back to the car, and calls out the next name. The last person can't go home until they find the given name." Audris said.

"Alright, now that is a game! Bas, you better not piss your pants or else I swear I am leaving you." Jay said.

I admit I was a little scared. Especially with the rule that if we were the last team, we would have the whole cemetery to ourselves. Though I was a bit spooked out, it was also pressuring to look brave in front of Rachel. Looking like a wuss was the last thing I wanted. By the look on Rachel's face, I saw how scared she really was. Her face was so pale, and her lips were dry and cracking. It looked like she was about to cry. She still looked beautiful though, like a damsel in distress. A princess lost in the woods, with a vaguely brave hearted squire by her side.

I stood closer to Rachel. "Don't worry, I won't leave you. Unless a ghost appears. Just kidding." I said.

"Not helping D! I am seriously really scared." She said.

Before I could even say anything further, Audris stood on top of a rock. "Roberto!" She yelled.

Jay and Bas ran as if their lives were on the line. Bas was so confused that he tripped with his own foot. "Oh come on Bas, get your ass up!" Jay said.

"Help me up my knight! I'm stuck!" Bas said. Jay then had to pull him up. Well more of like dragged him up.

Audris and Betty made a run for it, with Chad and Chase right behind them. Rachel was really scared now, her face was more expressive of it. I wrapped my arm around Rachel's shoulders. "It's going to be fine Rachel, I won't leave you." I said.

Though she was really scared, that same feeling made me nervous. The survival instinct then kicked in, and I knew I was not letting her go until the game was over. "If I have to wrestle a golem, or protect you from a ghost, I would buy us some time. You save yourself okay?" I said.

"Still not helping Damon!" She yelled.

Keeping her safe was my objective, but making her feel safe was my obligation.

We then started walking, almost crawling speed actually, and tried searching for the name."I have a feeling this Roberto is somewhere here." I said.

"Oh Damon, don't say that it's really scary. He might haunt us!" She said.

"Okay sorry. How bout I do the checking of the gravestones? You just continue being beautiful." I said. Okay you have to admit, that was quite smooth yeah?
