The world had ended. Our world was a battlefield, no longer safe from threats but completely open and vulnerable to them. Every where you turn, people are getting slaughtered or are slaughtering.
It's a war....An...
"Is everyone ready?" Daichi asked as he turned around, facing the rest of the group. "Yeah, we're ready." Tsukishima said, throwing a hoodie to Yamaguchi, to cover up. "T-Thanks, Tsukki." Yamaguchi thanked, avoiding eye contact with Tsukishima.
Thinking back on last night's events, Yamaguchi couldn't really speak to Tsukishima. The pair knew each other's feelings, and completely acknowledged the feelings between them, but with how their lives were, they didn't want to go into a relationship with everything that was going on. After everything was over, they would fulfill their promise to each other.
"So, each team has a walkie-talkie?" Daichi said as he looked around the room, seeing everyone's nod of their head. "The teams consist of two people. Team 1 is me and Daichi." Suga said, looking over at Daichi. "Team Two is Ennoshita and Tanaka. Team Three is Asahi and Noya. Team Four is Tsukishima and Yamaguchi, and the last team is Kageyama and Hinata." Daichi announced. "We're going to scout the area for anything we can use. Food, water, soap, towels, clothes, blankets and etc. Today, our main focus is finding weapons, so keep that in mind." Suga said. "Yosh!" the team yelled.

(-Team Four: Tsukki x Yama-)
"Would you like to explain why you haven't spoken since last night, Yamaguchi?" Tsukishima asked, slight irritation underlying his tone. "Hm? I haven't been in the mood to talk, it's too early to have to wake up." Yamaguchi replied, avoiding eye contact with Tsukishima. Suddenly, before Yamaguchi knew it, he was slammed against a wall with Tsukishima hovering over him. "You can tell someone else that, but that shit's not sliding with me, Yamaguchi." Tsukishima growled, eyes glaring into Yamaguchi's.
Just as Tsukishima was about to say something to Yamaguchi, a static noise was heard. "Team One to Team Four, I repeat, Team One to Team Four. What's your status?" Daichi's muffled voice asked. Tsukishima quickly yanked the walkie-talkie from his belt. "We haven't found any weapons, but we have some supplies." Tsukishima said, looking at Yamaguchi's hunched over back before going over to him, a small smirk tugging at the ends of his lips. "Yamaguchi, we need to find weapons." Tsukishima purred softly into Yamaguchi's ear, causing the latter to blush a dark red. "T-Tsukki! Don't do that!" Yamaguchi screeched, a dark blush spreading across his face rapidly. "Then talk. If you want to confront me about something, just do it." Tsukishima said, a smug look on his face as he faced Yamaguchi. "Let's go, we need to look around some more, then we'll move on." Tsukishima said as he started to walk, Yamaguchi in tow.

(-Team One: Daichi x Suga-)
"Hey, Daichi. Do you really think that zombies could exist?" Suga asked, sorting the guns and ammunition. "Well, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi did the tests. But after all of this happening, there's a great chance of it. Or at least, in my opinion." Daichi explained, cleaning the chamber of a .50 mil pistol. "You do have a point. But the main question is...will our world return to normal? How bad has everything been? Has it spread to other areas?" Suga asked, a distant look in his eyes. "We can hope that there's still a part of the world that's safe. We'll find that place, and when we do, we can start a new life together. As a family." Daichi said, a sigh emitting from the back of his throat. "Thank you, Daichi. For giving me new hope." Suga smiled, leaning over and kissing Daichi on the cheek. "Y-You're welcome, Koushi." Daichi stuttered before planting a small kiss on Suga's forehead*.
"I love you, Daichi." Suga smiled.
"I love you too, Suga." Daichi blushed.

It was about 7 hours later when everyone met at the middle point. "Did everyone find anything?" Daichi asked. Suddenly, everyone held their bags up. "I think Noya and Asahi found enough ammo to kill us." Tanaka laughed. "Yamaguchi, what did you and Tsukishima find?" Hinata asked. "We found more food, but with the weapons..." Yamaguchi trailed off. "We're going to need a large truck to haul all of it back to base." Tsukishima said, rubbing the back of his head. "Well, let's find a truck." Tanaka said, cracking his knuckles.

"Ahhh, finally! We found a truck!" Hinata sighed. "But the question is, can we start it?" Asahi asked. "I got it, just stand back." Kageyama said, walking up to the car. "Are you sure? It's kinda hard to do." Yamaguchi said, a small frown on his face. As Kageyama was sorting the colored wires, Hinata watched with interest. "Where did you learn to do that?" Hinata asked as Kageyama rose from the re-started car. "My dad taught me when I was 7." Kageyama said. "Let's get going." Daichi said as everyone jumped in the truck. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"This is the place, Daichi-san." Tsukishima said as he pointed at a two-story house. "Hmm, something seems kinda off." Daichi said as he pulled into drive-way of the house. "What do you mean?" Tsukishima asked, a slight frown forming on his lips. "The house looks like it's in top condition, except for the roof and plants around the house." Daichi said, looking suspiciously at the house. "Well if anything or anyone that looks like a threat comes through...." Tsukishima trailed off while grabbing a sniper rifle. "We shoot it." Tsukishima said, slinging the strap attached to the rifle over his shoulders. "Whoa, when did you start this? Do you even know how to shoot a gun at all?" Tanaka asked. "Yamaguchi, I'll let you explain to them." Tsukishima said, slowly walking up to the house, holding the rifle in his left hand.
Well, I'm ending the chapter here! I promise that the next chapter will be longer, and better. I can already tell I'm slacking with the writing and updates. But other than that, Yamaguchi will explain some small details about Tsukishima's Dad and how Tsukki is the way he is now. So I beg of you, please be patient with me! Also, in this story, Daichi and Suga start out as a couple*. The other pairings will gradually start to come out.
