Alexandria hated her home, or so to say, her scrap metal tent. She lived behind a dumpster, living off trash cans, and eating scraps. Really, the only good thing that happened to her was the fact that she found a bent, rusty machete in an abandoned storehouse. she would sometimes hide under the roofs of houses to keep away from snow or rain. during the winter, she would hear people talking about "Christmas" which turned out to be a holiday the people celebrated by putting a tree in their house, decorating it, and shoving presents under it for kids to unwrap. Sometimes, she would hide next to a chimney to keep warm. It didn't always work, though. a lot of the time, mostly in the morning and late night, the people wouldn't light the fires in their fireplaces. When Alexandria met Jacob, she was surprised anyone would want to talk to her. But soon after, she found out that Jacob was a lot like her.
