It had been 1 week since the accident and it was time for Justin to get back to work. Mitch and Steve had been very understanding with the whole situation and had told Justin it would be fine if he stayed off work for longer but Justin knew it wasn't fair.

Isabella had shown no change over the seven days which worried everyone although they all had hope that Isabella would overcome this, especially Justin.

"Good morning Mr Bieber," A nurse came in and began to do the usual updates on Isabella's notes. Justin pushed himself up from the bed and smiled towards the nurse. She wasn't a regular one, maybe new?

"Good morning..." He trailed off waiting for her answer.

"Karen, I'm Karen. I'm new and you are my first patient, well your girlfriend is," She smiled understandingly as she changed Isabella's IV.

"It's nice to meet you Karen, is there any change?" Justin asked as he pecked Bella's cheek and began to climb out of bed slowly, the accident still taking a toll on his body.

"Sorry sir, no change yet but all the staff have high hopes," Karen smiled as she wrote down some notes in Isabella's chart. Justin nodded sadly and went over to the wardrobe and pulled out his suit, ready for a day at work.

"Oh, you aren't staying today?" Karen asked as she noticed Justin's action.

"No, it's time to get back to work although I'll just be in the office sorting out some paper work, the team have been playing well this year," Justin smiled and went back over to the bed, covering his girlfriends body more knowing she was sensitive to the cold.

"Oh I know, my boyfriends a huge fan!" Karen giggled as she went over to the door.

"Tell him thank you," Justin nodded over to Karen.

"Oh and before I forget, my mother is coming to stay with her today," Justin explained to Karen so she knew. This was the first time Justin was going to be leaving the hospital for more then 1 hour. He didn't want Isabella to be left alone right now and knew that Sarah and Will were going through something more then just having their daughter in a coma.

"I'll keep an eye out for her Mr Bieber," Karen smiled politely before walking out of the door. Justin took one last glance to Isabella before quickly going into the bathroom and having a shower, preparing himself for the day.

Once he was ready, or as ready as he could be, he stepped out of the bathroom to see his mother sat down on the chair right next to Isabella's bed, reading her book.

"Hey mom," Justin smiled small to his mom as she stood up and gave him a warm hug. He didn't want to let go, just needing some comfort from his mother...

"Hey sweetie, how is she?" Pattie asked once she pulled away and straightened out her sons suit. She could see the dark bags under his eyes and the tiredness in his voice. He hadn't been himself... He had been keeping everything he felt inside...

"No changes," Justin shook his head as he went back over to Isabella and sat by her side. Doctors say she hears everything but then why won't she listen when Justin tells her to come back...

"How are you?" Pattie asked her son as she sat down in the chair, knowing how this conversation would go. They had been having the same conversation but over the phone and it was killing Pattie to see Justin block her out again...

"I'm fine ma," Justin replied with a fake smile. He didn't want his mom to worry about him when Isabella was laying there...

"Justin, I'm your mother. You don't need to hide in front of me," Pattie spoke sadly as she cupped her sons cheek. He looked down into his mothers eyes and a glint of sadness ran through his eyes... But he couldn't do this.
