Bella

"Bella, what are you doing today?" My mom asked as she skipped into my small shop. Work is still slow but Alex had rang earlier this week to say that he was working on getting me some advertisement space in some big Toronto magazine so hopefully that would get my name out there and also I shall be starting a small website, just to show what I've done and hopefully people will see it and request bookings! Fingers crossed!

"Umm, I'm filling out more paperwork for the new wallpaper design then going out for lunch," I thought through my day although I was trying to keep my mind off of tonight.

"Well, it's about 1 now, how about we go out to lunch together? Greg is in surgery and I want to spend time with my daughter," My mom smiled and held her hand out for me to get up out of the seat.

It was now Thursday and Justin had gone back to work but tonight was the night I was meeting his family. I was definitely scared but then again excited. I wanted to meet his mom and sister and brother and dad... But I was really scared on how they might see me...

"Ok but nothing heavy," I warned as I closed my laptop and picked up my bag, ready to go to lunch with my mom.

"Don't worry. I know you're meeting Justin's parents tonight, I won't force you to get anything big but stop stressing out, they'll love you," My mom comforted as we locked up the shop and walked down the street towards the new Sushi place.

"I know mom but, I don't know. I just don't want them to think of me as someone who shouldn't be dating their son," I shrugged and leant my head on my moms shoulder.

"They won't have any reason to think that. You are extremely talented in what you do and you are beautiful and I'm not just saying that because I'm your mom. You need to have more confidence in yourself, that was the whole reason I sent you to Camp," My mother tried to soothe but she wasn't doing a lot of good.

"What are you talking about? I'm a lot more confident in myself! I don't stutter, I have friends, I have a boyfriend! It's ok for me to be nervous isn't it?" I asked extremely unsure of tonight.

"Bella, you're aloud to be nervous, it's almost impossible not to be for a night like this. All I'm saying is that you need to stop doubting yourself. They will love you! And if they don't, who cares. Justin is a grown man, he can make his own decisions for himself," My mom waved her hand and followed the waiter who took us to a small table

He handed us menus then went away to bring us back some drinks.

"But mom, I don't want Justin to have to choose between me and his family. I would never expect him to do that," I sighed and leant back, not feeling the mood to eat.

"Then you're just going to have to make them love you, which is pretty easy. Just be polite and caring but most importantly, be you," My mom advised. I smiled small and thanked her. That was what I needed. Reassurance that this whole night would go well...

Justin

"Bieber, when are you picking up Bella! It's 6 already!" Jazzy whined as she continued to pester me about tonight.

The night had finally come for Bella to meet my family and I think everyone, except for Jason because he had already met her, was extremely excited. Jaxon had actually taken a bath, Jazzy wore a new dress, my dad had locked his home office up -- which he rarely does -- and my mom had retrieved her ancient recipe book from the attic to make the famous Bieber Spaghetti Bolognese. Everything was falling into place.

"Calm down Jaz. I need to find out when when mom is finished cooking," I chuckled and straightened out my tie in the mirror.

Tonight, all of us had dressed up. Jaz in a deep red dress with white tights making her look extremely festive, Jaxon was also fixing up as he had on a suit with his blonde hair slicked back and you could smell the 'aftershave' he had on from a mile away. Dad and Jason obviously wore suits as well and for mom, she had on this sparkling black dress with her hair up in an elegant bun and heels, surely too high for her and yet she looked timeless. I've always been a 'mommas boy'...
