I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I hate hospitals.
“When will she wake?” I eagerly asked the nurse who put Bella’s notes down.
“She should wake shortly, the doctor will also be in soon.” She smiled small before walking out. I looked back to Bella and grabbed her delicate hand. I don’t know how I possibly let this happen. I feel like I’m so close to loosing her every time I take my eyes away from her.
But I’ll never be able to look Liam in the eye ever again. What a selfish mother fucking little --
“Jay?” My eyes snapped from her hand up to her pale face. Her eyes now slightly opening.
“Baby, I’m here. Don’t worry.” I held her face, it now regaining some color.
“He - he, I didn’t -- I know baby, don’t worry about him. Lets just focus on you. How are you feeling?” I asked, her eyes though told me everything. She was in pain.
“It hurts and I don’t know whats going on so I’m now frustrated and my stomach really hurts.” She pouted cutely. I let my bottom lip turn to a pout before watching her cute little smile come to play.
“Don’t make me laugh, it hurts.” She giggled before leaning up and pecking my lips.
“Calm down baby, I don’t want you in any more pain.” I stroked her hair before kissing her forehead gently.
“I’ll be fine but I want to know whats going on.” She blew it off and laid back down, rubbing her fingertips over my knuckles.
“You have no idea how scared I was. I’ve come close to loosing you and I vowed to never go back there again. Just promise you’ll fight every time?” I begged. I couldn’t even last 5 minutes without asking her this. I needed her in my life.
“I’ll forever fight for not only you but for myself. Don’t ever forget that.” And with that she carefully placed a loving kiss on my lips. I let out a long breath and cupped her face with both hands gently, trying to portray to her through this kiss how much I love her.
“I hope I’m not interrupting anything?” Bella and I both pulled away before looking over to the door where, I’m assuming, the doctor had walked in.
“No no, er, so what happened?” I asked, sitting down and taking Bella’s hand with mine. Though, not missing the huge blush that covered her cute cheeks.
“Do you both remember the situation on how Ms Antoine got here?” He asked, standing at the foot of Bella’s bed.
