Aftermath (Bucky Barnes)

Chapter Thirty Four

Immediately we started to plan the wedding. We wanted it outdoors, we invited all our teammates and I invited Sue from the diner and a couple of other friends. Bucky didn't have any friends outside of the team.

We canceled the trip to Hawaii and just planned that as our honeymoon

Right now we were in the dining room planning out our life after we are married.

"We need to move out of this tower, I'm thinking Brooklyn." I smiled, I knew it holds a special place in his heart.

"Really?" He asked and I nodded. "Maybe Steve could move in close to us."

"That'd be awesome, we need a house though, and we need a yard. And no noisy neighbors, because if we have kids-" he said and cut himself off.

"I mean, I-" I put my hand on his arm and cut him off. "I know you want kids, I read the letter you wrote me awhile ago."

"I want kids but I can't have any, Hydra ruined that for me..." He said and I put my hand on his. "We will figure it out, we can always adopt, don't stress about it now. But, I want kids too."

"I've always wanted a son, and two daughters maybe." He said and I smiled.

"I don't care I just want kids, I have had like a list of names in the back of my head forever."

I scribbled down what we looked for in a house and started to look up houses.

"Oh! I found one! Three bed rooms three bath, there is a fenced in yard, and right across the street is an apartment for sale! Bucky can we please go check it out?" I begged and he nodded.

"Yes, doll. Set up an appointment, we can't tell anyone until it's for sure."

"Obviously." I said and he kissed me quick. "Alright, I have my tux fitting in an hour so I'm going to head out early, bye babe."

"Bye hon," I smiled and gave his arm a squeeze while I continued to arrange our wedding.

Nat walked in and took Bucky's seat. "Really? You want to have the bridesmaids where that shade of blue?"

"Is there a problem?" I asked and she nodded. "It should be a lighter shade, I'm not wearing that cheesy blue."

"You're so annoying." I said and she laughed. "You ready to get your dress?" I nodded.

"Can't believe I'm getting married before you." I laughed and she scoffed.

"What about this one?" I asked and Nat and Wanda both clapped.

This was a white dress which touched the ground. It was lace on the top and I loved it.

"This is the one!" I said and Natasha and Wanda both cheered for me. "You look hot." Nat smiled

"What will Bucky think?" I asked and they smirked. "I think he'll just be thinking of what you look like under the dress." Wanda admitted

"Wanda!"

"We all know it's true." Nat teased.

Bucky and I are lying in bed. "You're going to love it, it's perfect. How is your suit?"

"You'll like it, I can't wait, one short week!" He said and kissed me.

"When we are standing up there, starring into each other's eyes..."

"I'm so ready." He said and turned off the lights. He covered me up with a blanket and we went to bed

Bucky Barnes Point of View: Dani was asleep, she was snoring lightly and mumbling things in her sleep.

A week from now I get to marry her, who would've ever thought?

I don't think I was ever this happy with my life.

I got a good nights sleep that night, when I woke up, she was gone, but the shower was running.

I took this time to change into some new clothes. Today we looked at the house in Brooklyn.

Dani walked out of the bathroom with nothing but a towel on, "Have you seen my blue dress?" She asked and I was too busy checking her out.

"Bucky!" She snapped me out of the trance, "Um, by the couch?" I said and she found it by herself.

"You're helpless." She said and walked back into the bathroom. She came out and was fully dressed, her hair was in some type of braid.

"We have to get going now if we are ever going to make it." I said because she was taking so long.

"Sorry, you can't rush perfection." She said and we both grabbed an apple from the kitchen before heading to her car.

"Can I drive?" I asked and she nodded and threw me the keys. "Sure." She said and climbed into the passengers seat.

I hadn't driven in some time.

We drove to the house where the realtor was, but when we walked in, Stark was there too. We were surprised to say the least

"Could we have a minute alone?" Dani asked and the woman nodded.

"What the hell?" She asked and Tony shrugged. "You guys left the laptop open, I happened to see it, I want to buy your next house for you, and I want to be involved in the process of buying it."

"Fine." Dani admitted and we took the tour of the house. It was perfect, everything we wanted.

I can see myself spending the rest of my life with her here.

Stark offered to buy it for us, he has the right intentions he just sometimes can be very pushy.

He put in an offer for us, Dani was mentally picking out paint colors and furniture. "I love it, we need to get it." She said, "Agreed."

Today was our wedding day.

I was waiting for Dani to walk down the aisle. All our friends were here and it was in a beautiful outdoor venue

Steve was my best man, and Sam was up here too because even though I hate him, I still love him.

Natasha and Wanda were Daniella's bridesmaids. I was anxiously waiting for her.

But when I saw her, she looked like an angel, she was absolutely breath taking. She was smiling, she was focused on me. She walked down the aisle and stopped in front of me.

"You look so beautiful." I whispered and her cheeks turned pink. "You look very handsome." She smiled and I did too.

Of course I let it a few tears and Sam started laughing at me quietly until Steve shoved him.
