Chapter Twenty-Two

Pan's POV

When I walk out of Kim's tent, I go into the forest and walk until I reach a treehouse. I take a deep breath knowing that I was at the home of the Lost Child. I climb up the ladder and open the trap door. I see her sitting on her bed staring off into space like I usually find her every time I pay her a little visit. Her black hair covers over half of her face. She looks up at me and I hold my breath. Her green eyes staring into mine. Even though she is only ten she knows how to stare someone down. "Hello, Peter Pan." She said. Her saying my name sends chills down my spine. "Hello, Lost Child." I say. She gets up from her bed and comes over to me. "Why don't you call me by my real name?" She asks in a little British accent. "Fine, Melanie Pan." I say. She sticks her tongue out at me. She hates that I'm her big brother for many reasons. "I told you I'm now Melanie Rose not Pan." She said. I suddenly remember that she had switched her middle and last name so people wouldn't think that we're related. "What do you need, brother?" She asks. "I need to know how you ended up in my girlfriend's dream." "Don't know how I ended up there. Maybe Maya put me in the dream." "But, why? I understand why I was in the dream but, you?" I ask. "Well, let's go talk to our sister." She said. She opens a curtain in the room that was covering a mirror. "Tell me where Maya Pan is." She said. It showed Maya on the mirror, walking in the woods. "Well that's helpful. That can be anywhere in Neverland." Just then I saw a dreamshade bush behind her. I knew where she was at. I teleport to Shadow Forest and end up right behind her. "Hello, Sis." I lean up against a tree and cross my arms. "Hello, Pan." She says. She turns around and smirks. "What do you want?" "Well, I need to know what spell you on Kim and why you put our sister in her dream." "Ok. First of all that was the Nightshade spell and second of all, because the dream needed to end sometime so, why not stick our sister in the dream to save her." The Nightshade spell. I should've known. I hope she still has her powers because, that spell most of the time renders you powerless and weak if you have magic. If you don't have magic and the spell is casted on you then you simply get weak and die. I've lost about seven of my lost boys that way and I can't lose Kim that way too.
