Chapter Fourty-Five

I fall for a couple seconds then, I don't feel like I'm falling anymore. In fact I feel like I'm floating. I open my eyes to find myself floating. I look up and realize that Pan's holding me by my waist. I start to struggle that way he would drop me. I'm going to die anyways so, why not die now? He doesn't let go of me. His grip only gets tighter. He flys us to the edge of the cliff and puts me down. "You have to be careful." He says. I guess he didn't know that I jumped off on purpose. "It wasn't on accident." I say flatly. He looks confused. "Wait. This was a suicide attempt?" I slowly nod. "So, first you broke up with me. Now you're trying to kill yourself." I nod "I'm going to die anyways so, why not get it over with now?" I say, trying to contain tears and not show any weakness. "Kim, you might not have your life in the next week but, that doesn't mean I stopped caring about you. You're still a part of my plan to get Henry." I raise an eyebrow at him. "How am I part of your plan?" He smirks, which scares me a little bit. "How's your acting?" He asks. I quickly decide to answer by breaking down into tears. "What's wrong? Did I say something?" He asks, extremely concerned. "No." I say and straighten back up. I wipe the last of the tears away and I'm perfectly fine. "Impressive." He said. "Ok, Henry should be coming tomorrow morning. So, by then you need to get the dress you wore when you turned into Athena and maybe smudge dirt on your face to make it look like you're trying to escape me." He says. I nod and start back to camp.
