Chapter Fourty-Six

The morning came and I woke up early to get ready. I thought of the dress I wore as Athena and made it appear. I then, smudged dirt on the dress and put it on. I looked into the mirror, I definitely look like I'm trying to escape Pan. The only thing that is missing is dirt on my face. I decide to smudge a little on my cheek. I mess up my hair a little bit, only enough to make it frizzy and put on my velvet cloak. The cloak made me look like a lost boy but, I don't really care what I look like now. I go out to camp and sit on a log. I heard rustling from behind me. I turn around to see Troy standing right behind me. "What happened to you?" He asks, sitting next to me. "Oh, nothing. I made myself look like this." He looks at me, a little confused. "Why?" I chuckle. "Because, I'm part of Pan's plan to get Henry back." He smiles "Let me guess, you're supposed to be a fugitive trying to escape from him and you trick Henry into thinking you're trying to help him escape." I nod. "How did you know?" He shrugs "Pan did the exact same thing to Henry when he was here the first time." I had forgotten that it happened like that last time. Pan comes out of the forest. "Half of the plan, successful." Troy said. Pan nods and takes my wrist, pulling me up on my feet. "Ready to do this?" I nod. "Let's do it." We run into the forest and after a while, stop at a clearing. "Ok, Henry is on the island so, run and find him and then, start acting. I'll be watching you the whole time to see how you do. Got it?" I nod and dart into the forest. The only thing is that he didn't tell me where Henry was so, I have to find him before his family follows him on this island. I run for about eight minutes and find a clearing. Henry's standing in the middle of it with fear in his eyes. I step into the clearing and pretend to limp over to him. "Kim?" He asks. His face is full of disbelief. "Yeah. It's me." I say in a raspy voice. I wobble over to him and pretend to balance myself on his shoulder. "How did you get here?" He asks. "Same way you did. Pan kidnapped me and now he's trying to get information from me." He looks at me, confused. "Information on what?" I quickly think of something "Your whereabouts and he also needs my heart like he needs yours." "So, how did he get you to give information?" I get a tear to role down my face "His little games that could easily kill anyone. I'm lucky to be alive." He looks at me, puzzled "If Pan wanted to kill you then, why didn't he kill you when he was playing all of those games?' I shrug "Probably to see how much of it I can take. He also needs my heart too so, he can't exactly kill me." He nods "Don't worry. My family is going to come save me again and they can take you back home. How long have you been here, anyways?" I make up a number "Three months." Suddenly, we hear footsteps coming from the forest. "Ah. I see we have the two fugitives cornered." Pan says, circling me and Henry. I look at Pan, confused. This wasn't part of the plan. I realize that I'm supposed to be in character so, I make my eyes look like I'm afraid. Pan grabs me by the arm and pulls me to him while, a lost boy gets Henry. I drop the act and stand up straight. Henry looks at me, shocked. He must've known by the look on my face that I work for Pan. Pan leads all of us back to camp.
