Chapter Fourty-Three

Kim's POV

I can't find Pan anywhere on the island. It's like he's hiding from me. I then see movement in the trees and stop in my tracks. I take out my dagger that I always have with me and hear footsteps behind me. I see a figure and without hesitation lean it up against a tree. "Now, why would you try to kill me, Lost Girl." I heard Pan's voice and look up and see him against the tree. I put my dagger back in its sheath and let him go. He chuckles and I smack him on the arm. "Don't scare me like that. I thought you were a pirate." He raises an eyebrow "If you hear footsteps walking directly to you, it's most likely one the lost boys or me." "Where were you?" I ask. "I was at Skull Rock. I was seeing how much time I have left." My eyes saddened "How much time do you have left?" He looked at the ground "A week. I'm sending two of my boys to Storybrooke to get Henry but, you know about yourself." I nod and hug him tightly. "Can't we find a loophole for you to become immortal." He shook his head "That's why I've been disappearing lately. I've been searching and if there was one then, it's very hard to find." I start to tear up and I try to hold back tears. "Can't we do it without having to kill me?" He shakes his head "There's no way to avoid that but, it's either my life or yours." I nod and he wipes away my tears with his hand. "Then I'm going to pick yours." I say. I really need to do this and save him. "I know. That's why this is going to be so hard." He teleports us to camp. I don't let go of him. I kinda find it impossible for me to let go. He smiles and forces my arms off of his neck. "Go to your tent and wait for me." He said, gently. I nod and run to my tent. I crash on my bed and put a pillow on my face to muffle the sobs.
