Returning To Neverland

Chapter Three

Two years later.......
Kim's POV

Today is my first day of high school. I quickly get dressed in dark blue jeans, a green tank with a white jacket, and a gold necklace. I slip on my tan boots and go downstairs to eat breakfast. All the sudden my phone vibrates on the counter. I pick it up and see that I got a new message. I read it and start shaking. It said the three most scariest words to ever exist. Peter Pan lives. I reread it not believing what it says. I quickly turn the phone off and shove it in my book bag along with my earbuds.

When I get to school. I see a boy in the office. I didn't recognize him, so I assumed that he is new. I go to my locker and my best friend, Sydney walks up to me. "Hey." She says. I can almost hear her smile. We hadn't seen each other all summer. "Hey, Sydney." I say getting my books for class. "What class do you have now?" I ask. "I have English. What do you have?" I frown at the fact that we're not in the same class. "I have History first." I say. She frowns a little then she perks back up. "Do you have second lunch?" She asks hoping that I do. "Yeah." I say closing my locker and start walking to class. "Well, see you at lunch." She says. "Ok, bye." I go to my class and sit down in the back hoping Skyler is in this class. She enters and sits right in front of me. I reach out and tug on her curly red hair. She turned around and smiled at me. "Hey, Kim." She says. "Hi." I say. She turns back to face the board. The teacher came in and sat at his desk. I take out one of my notebooks and begin to draw the Pan Pipes. I have a distinct memory of what they looked like. "Sorry I'm late." I suddenly hear from the front of the classroom. I jump at the British accent and look up to see Pan dressed in modern day clothes. "It's ok. Just take a seat." I cover my face with my hands and hope this is a dream. When I uncover my face I found him sitting beside me. I realize that he was the boy I saw in the office this morning and I didn't recognize him because he had his back turned. "Pan, what are you doing here." I ask him. He looked at me a little surprised that I recognized him. "Let's see. I'm trapped in the real world and can't find a way to get back to Neverland." "I thought I killed you." I said. "You only hurt me and next time use the right dagger and be sure to kill Maya, because I can only die if Maya dies too." He said. I turn back to my drawing as the teacher was going through the first day of school boring stuff like introductions to subjects we'll learn. He gave us a worksheet and pretty soon class was over. I went to my locker and got my stuff for English. Sydney and Skyler came up to me and walked with me to class. Sydney had to be separated from us because she had to go to Math. "Did you see the new guy?" She asked. "Yeah, he sat next to me." I said. She giggled "isn't he a little cute." She says. I can't believe she's crushing on him a little bit. I roll my eyes "Whatever you say." She laughs and we go to class
