Chapter Twenty-Nine

Pan's POV

I go into the woods to meet up with an old friend. I start coughing after walking for a while. If I don't get Henry and his and Kim's hearts, I will continue coughing and eventually not be heathy enough to get them and die. I go to a lake on the other side of the island. I forbid this part of the island for many reasons and the person I'm seeing is one of the reasons. I suddenly see a white figure in the black lake. I gulp knowing that it's her. She walks out of the lake completely soaked. Her night gown going all the way to her ankles. She has dark blond hair and brown almost black eyes. Her ghostly completion creeps me out. I'm reminded that she's a dead girl. "What are you doing here, Peter Pan?" She asks pretending to care. "I need to know something, Wendy." She suddenly starts paying attention since I used her name. "What do you need?" She asks wearily. "I need to know where my sister is." She narrows her eyes which always creeps me out and did even when she was alive. "What's in it for me?" "Hmm......well I can send you to where dead people belong and you can be reunited with your brothers." I know if I think of something good enough she's going to take the deal without a problem. "Ok. Deal. But, I'm still mad at you for drowning me in the lake." She says. "Oh I wasn't the one who drowned you. The Shadow was the one who dropped you in the lake." I say. "It was your shadow therefore, it was your fault." I roll my eyes "Are you going to tell me where Maya is or not?" Her eyes go completely black and I flench   slightly. All she does is chuckle and her eyes go back to semi-normal. "She's at Mermaid Lagoon." I nod and start walking off when, she suddenly grabs my arm with her dead, cold fingers. "You're not going to forget your deal, right?" She asks. I nod "I'll do it later." She grunts and goes back into the lake the same way as she came out of the lake.
