Chapter Thirty

Pan's POV

I go to Mermaid Lagoon and Maya's nowhere to be seen. I then turn around and see Scarlet except she has legs instead of a tail. "How did you turn into a person?" She looks at me very confused "What are you talking about and who are you?" Maybe she lost her memory but, how did she turn into a person if she was a mermaid before? I then notice something different about her voice. There's no British accent like there was before. She sounded like she was American. "I'm Peter Pan and you used to be a mermaid." She looks very confused about everything. "I was never a mermaid. I just got on this strange island." I took a small step toward her. She jumped back. She obviously scared of me. "Well, Hello, Peter." I hear from behind me. It sounded like Maya. I turn towards the lake but, instead of Maya I see Scarlet as a mermaid. I then come to a realization. The only person that's ever called me by my first name was Maya. "Hello, Maya." The smile she once had on her face fell into an evil smirk. "You copied a real person?" She nodded and got out of the water. She immediately changed back to Maya. I turn back to Scarlet and she looks terrified. I walk to her and whisper "run." She nods and runs into the forest. "What do you want?" She asks clearly mocking me. "To do this." I lunge at her, catching her off guard and grab her dagger from the belt she has on her waist. "You came to kill me?" She said still smirking. I raise an eyebrow and nod. "Peter, we can be a team if you don't kill me. We would be unstoppable if you let go of Kim and send her home." I nod. "Yes, we would be unstoppable but, I'm not letting go of Kim." She smiles at me which scares me a little bit. "Then you can keep her and I can help you get Henry and we can be a family again. Please Peter, I will do whatever you say." I hand her back her dagger. She puts it back on the belt and comes to me. She hugs me tightly and I'm surprised by the fact that she trusts me. "Let's go to camp, sis." She nods and goes into the woods. She turns to me "Are you coming?" "Yeah, I just have a lot on my mind." "Like what?" "Like, how the boys and Kim will react when they find out that you're on my side." She nods "They're going to freak out, especially Kim." She says as we make our way to camp.
