I stood in the large field beside our favorite love making spot, I MEAN, our favorite hot springs. Heh. Ignore that last part.

The deities, the fae monarchs, Siren Queens, and many of our closest fae and human friends gathered in Alduin's forests for a meeting of sorts. The morning sun was slowly creeping into the sky.

"It smells like sex out here." Klaus grumbled.

My cheeks heated and I squeezed Alduin's hand in response.

"Oh, yeah," He lamely said. "Klaus, ahem, shut up. Is that good?" He asked me for approval.

I rolled my eyes and glared at Klaus, "I will castrate you."

Maya had her arm looped through his and she seemed pretty amused by my comment. She giggled incessantly.

"What!" Klaus asked innocently. "I said nothing wrong! If there's a hot springs nearby you best believe Gabby and Alduin have deflowered it. That's just common sense."

"Everybody knows that." Cael quietly commented, sipping his brandy.

"All hot springs are fair game." Alduin shrugged.

"Alduin!" I exclaimed and shoved the arm I held onto. "Don't encourage them."

The laughing ensued, as did the crude jokes and passing of spiceberries. After a few minutes passed and people were lost in conversation about the war and tactics and stressing topics, I left Alduin's side to find my two favorite brothers. I took one of each hand, Cael and Klaus'. They stared at me peculiarly.

"No matter what happens, no matter how bad this war gets, or who falls in war, we have to remember one thing." As I spoke the large group of people had quieted as they listened to me.

"In the past as we stood over funerals and engaged in war I used to think that death followed us, that being an angel meant following life until it led to death. But when we walked over into Atlantis, with human, fae, and deity alike it was then that I realized that we aren't bound by death, but by life." I squeezed their hands one last time and released them.

I embraced Maya and Phina and whispered, "Together you can overcome anything. Hold onto each other. Cling to each other for support. Only the four of you can defeat the world's evil."

An elven fae group held crude instruments as they played music. A bonfire was started and dancing ensued around it.

"Let's sneak off to the hotsprings." Alduin whispered in my ear, his dark purple eyes promised me aneternity of mischief. He ran towards the forest and disappeared. Beforefollowing him I realized a lilac butterfly fluttered along the path he hadtaken. I gazed back at Alexios near the fire and noted the full moon hangingabove him. I turned and ran after the butterfly, and ultimately Alduin. Icaught up with him and was lifted into his warm arms as he carried me to the swirlingpool in the forest.
