Chapter 9 - Saying Sorry

Briar's POV

Abbey is shocked to hear about what i have done. 

"Woah...Briar..did you actually??" She asked

"Yep..but im not that proud of it..thats why im apologizing" i say, not too happy by what i did

"At least you're being the better person" 

"Yea.."

When we get to CDC, i change into my dance wear quickly and tell Abbey and Jessy that im going to look for Abi. As i walk into the studio i spot Abi and Myles in the corner. Abi doesnt look too good and her eyes are red, has she been crying? Is it because of what i said? I hope not..

I build up my confidence and walk over to Abi.

"What are you doing here? You're not exactly welcome" she snapped, but i could just tell behind her strong mask she wasnt feeling the same

"Can i just talk to you?..please Abi" 

"Ok fine"

Once she aggreed to talk i realised that Myles had been very quiet the whole time. Was he angry at me for saying those things? I hope not

"Ok make whatever you're about to say quick Briar" said Abi

"K, first i just want to say im sorry for everything, i didnt mean for those things to come out."

"Well they did.."

"Please Abi, ive never said things like that to anyone before. I guess i was just angry so those words came from rage"

"Its ok, i get it now. But one thing, i know you like my boyfriend"

"......, uh..no i dont"

"Well you do and you better stay away from, he doesnt like you, he likes me. Im his girlfriend for a reason so get over him because hes mine" she say, emphasising the words "mine"

"You know what?! Im not sorry! I dont care about what you think anymore! I like Myles! Ok! So what? Its none of your buisness"

"Excuse me! But it is my business, hes my boyfriend for God's sake. What part of girlfriend and boyfriend do you not understand"

"Oh, i know what it means but the part i dont understand is you and Myles' girlfriend"

 "Oh what now? Its not like you're expecting him to do better are you? And what, are you going to be the new girlfriend? I mean, look at yourself please. You're short, ugly and you cant dance. No suprise he bailed on you yesterday, like im suprised Jessy is even hanging out with you. If i were Jessy i would avoid you"

Thats it, i couldnt take anymore of it. Was i really ugly? I didnt think i was beautiful but i thought i looked half deccent. And short well i cant really say much because i am short. And i cant dance? Was everyone just telling me im really good because they feel sorry for me?. I just couldnt stand there anymore, so i just ran until i found Jessy.

Abi's POV

I hate her soooo much. She thinks she can steal Myles away from me, no way, she doesnt have a chance. I will do anything and i mean ANYTHING to stop her from taking Myles away.

Jessy's POV

Im talking to Abbey and all of a sudden i see Briar running towards me. What happened? I thought she went to apologise to Abi. I knew it wasnt a good idea. Abi is well...if there was one word to describe her, it would be crazy. I dont even understand why Myles puts up with her, she must be a pain in the back. 

"Briar!?!? Whats wrong!!" I ask

"Everything!" She says and she looks like shes just about to cry

"What did Abi say?!?" 

She doesnt say anything and just starts crying. That tears it, Abi is gonna get another piece of my mind.

I storm over to Abi who is obviously with Myles. She is way too clingy.

"Abi!!!!" I shout

"What?" She says with a huge smirk on her face

"Seriously?!? What? Thats all you have to say for yourself!?!"

"Whats going on??" Asks Myles, obviously lost 

"Well why dont you just look over there" i say and point to Briar who is crying while Abbey trys to comfort her

"Why is Briar crying?"

"Beacause of this thing!!" I say and point to Abi this time who looks offended. The look on her face is priceless.

"Abi!! What did you do to Briar!?!" Says Myles

"Oh nothing. Just the pure truth about how ugly and untalented she is." She says with an even bigger smirk on her face

"What!? Why!?" Asks Myles

"Because she thought a little sorry would fix everything that she said to me yesterday"

"And you had to make her cry!?!" He says nearly screaming

"Yep"

"You know what Myles, you're her boyfriend. Do me a favour and fix her for me. She doesnt look normal to me" i say and storm off back to Briar

"Thanks" says Briar finally clearing up her tears 

"No problem, anything for a friend right?"

"You're the best" she says slowly forming a weak smile on her face

"Now, lets show her what talent we've got. Abbey, Briar remeber that trio we choreographed a day ago at your house, with all those tricks?

"Yea" say Abbey and Briar in unison

"Well lets show Abi how talented we are by performing the routine now"

"In front of everyone?!" Questions Briar

"Yep, now lets do it!!" I shout. I give Briar a quick hug, put the music we need to play on my floor and we take our positions.

Myles' POV

Im so angry with Abi right now. Why would she make Briar cry? All Briar was trying to do, was fix things. As Abi is explaining how innocent she, i hear music playing so i turn around. Everyone goes quiet including Abi and they stop to turn to look at Abbey, Jessy and Briar doing a trio. I have to admit that the trio was spectacular. Their precision and technique was on point. Briar continues to amaze everyone again and again. Shes just so amazing. The acro in the trio was just flawless. Once they were done the trio everyone started clapping and cheering for them and Abi just storms out of the room. But this time i dont follow her, i honestly dont want to talk to her right now after hearing what she did.
