Chapter 19 - What?...

Briar's POV

Why is my life so messed up!?! The minute i get my dream boyfriend, everything falls apart. Like seriously! I need to shatter his heart into a million pieces! Instead of shattering his, I'm going to shatter mine in the process. I guess, i should make the most of it. Enjoy it for a week, then go ahead with my plan. Its what needs to be done for Jessy to be safe. I'd rather live a miserable life then know my best friend died because i couldn't break up with a simple boy. 

I hear a knock at my door, so i run downstairs. Oh yea..Myles is picking me up.. 

"Hey, u ready?" He asks

"Yea" I say and get into the car

When we arrive at CDC, we walk into our hands intertwining. Everyone stops to stare and i'm not sure if was a good or bad thing. Then they start cheering.. What on Earth is happening?..

I around with a confused look on my face and i hear a few laughs. 

"What happened between you two!?!" Says Devon running up to us with a huge grin on his face

"Isnt it obvious?" Replies Myles

"Well, Bryles had to happen sooner or later" Says Devon with a smirk on his face

"How could i not fall for a beautiful girl like her. Shes just perfect. She's my Lil B" Say Myles while giving me a kiss on the forehead while everyone else coos. I feel so guilty inside. How am i going to break his heart, when he feels this way about me. Maybe if i do i sooner it will be easier for both of us. There wont be any history or any beautiful memories. That way no one gets hurt. But one thing is for sure, it wont be easy.

I miss Jessy so much, everything is so different without her. I realised that i cant hide forever so i started socialising a bit today. At least im getting somewhere.  

Myles has to practise a group dance with the boys so i just sit and watch them. After a while Myles goes  to get us something to eat, but i dont follow since i didn't feel like moving. Its been 20 minutes and he hasn't come back. It can't take this long. The place is about a 3 minute walk so what could he be up to. I decide to go and find him since he was taking so long. He would have texted me if something was up so i go after him. I try calling him but there's no answer so i text him, but no reply. When i walk around the corner, that is what shocked me. I saw something i had never expected to see that day....
