Chapter 14 - No More Kind Act

Briar's POV
"Ok, tell me everything!!! I need details!!" Screamed Jessy into my ear

"Well..everything went great. I didn't mess up. We had a bit of food, talked, he showed me this cool place. Not much happened" I say

"C'mon! There has to be some more! Like a hug or a spark between you two!!" She shouts, unsatisfied with my answer

"Jessy! Shut up!! He just walked into the room!!" I whisper as loud as I could

I could help but smile at the sight of Myles walking into the studio. He must have noticed me beaming like there was no tomorrow since he smiled back. God, I like him so bad. Even his smile, makes me melt into a million pieces. Like seriously, you can't blame me, I'm pretty sure most of the girls here have a huge crush on him.

"Briar? Hello!?! Are you dead now or what!!" Says Jessy, snapping her finger in front of my face, waking me up out of my daydream.

"Thnx, I needed that." I say, once I say that Abi walks in. The atmosphere grows intense, since she still needs to prove herself to the team after the big mess up yesterday.

"Have you got the routine now?" Asks Jessy

"Um.. I guess.." She mumbles

"Ok, then. We're going to stretch and after this we're going to go through the routine. If you get lost once, we're telling Allain" Says Jessy firmly

"Ok.." She says and stares at the ground. I wonder if she knows if Myles and I hung out yesterday. I hope she doesn't go crazy if she finds out. I still remember that text she send me a while back. To be honest, I think she's a bit insecure and I'm pretty sure she needs a bit of therapy.

After everyone stretches, the music starts playing and we start dancing. Thankfully, Abi knows the choreography and the rehearsal went smoothly. At certain times when we were practising, me and Myles' eyes locked and we both smiled. We go through the rest of the routines and of course Myles and I's duet. After we have rehearsed for a solid 1 hour. We take another break.

Myles' POV

Im just grabbing my bag from my cubby when i see the boys walk over. 

"Yo Myles! Where were you yesterday!?! We sent you about a million texts, asking you to come over!" Says Devon

"I had stuff to do" i say

"Stuff? What could be more important than us bro?"

"I was out with Briar"

"Wasnt Abi mad then?" He questioned quite confused

"I dunno but we broke up so its probably fine" 

While i explain what happened between Briar and i the boys listen intently. But they werent the only ones, out of the corner of my eye i saw Abi listening , even if she was trying to act if she wasnt. Shouldn't she be practicing, the competition is in 3 days! 

Briar's POV

Im just chatting it up with Jessy when i hear a noise. I realise its my phone. I turn it on and see that i have a message, it said: You think you're so clever, guess what..you're not. Im getting Myles back at all costs.

Ugh, Abi...for god's sake, just get over him, i scream in my head. Im done with the kind act with her, i help her and she returns the kindness like this. I just hope she wont do anything severe, i think shes pretty capable of doing something dangerous.

Hi! Sorry if you were expecting a more exciting chapter. Im just leading up to the plot so the next few chapters will be fillers. Bye!
