Alpha And Omega

Chapter 16

Soon Mitch and I are seated at the table enjoying the amazing lunch he prepared. Kacy comes out and Mitch grabs her arm gently. She turns around and looks at him.

"I'm sorry for yelling. It was rude and uncalled for." He explains and I smile. She gives a small smile in return. "I forgive you. And I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have tried to put my hands on you." She says.

Mitch strands and gives her a hug, before stopping. He pulls away and looks her in the eye. "Why do you smell like my alpha?" He asks and I grab him.

"Don't do that to yourself. She didn't do anything and neither did I." I say and he looks at me for a long time before nodding. "Okay." He says slowly. I hold him against my chest and he turns around.

I look at him and he sits on my lap before burying his face in my neck. "You okay sweetheart?" I ask and I feel him speak against my neck. I couldn't quite hear him though, so I pulled back. "I didn't hear you baby, can you repeat that?" I ask.

"I'm okay alpha. I just wanted to smell you on you." He explains and I laugh. He lays back down on me and I kiss his shoulder. We stay like this for a while, but Kristen comes out crying.

Mitch hops out of my arms and walks over to his friend. "What happened?" He asks and she stays silent for a moment before sighing. "I was playing a game with Kacy and I wanted to come get you. She got upset and said she didn't want to be my friend.

She said all I care about is you, and that's not completely true. Yes you are my best friend and I would do anything to see you smile, but that doesn't mean everyone else doesn't matter." She explains and Mitch sighs.

"Let's go tell Avi and Jeremy, okay? They can handle it." He says and I start to put pout. Kristen looks over to me before looking back to Mitch. "I think we need to include alpha Scott too." She says and Mitch nods.

"Good idea. He is lead alpha after all. And my alpha too." He says and I smile. I look at the table and notice he still has food on his plate. "Mitchell." I say, and he jumps. "Yes alpha?" He says, slowly turning around.

"There is still food on your plate. Why?" I ask and he sighs in relief. "I got up to apologize and then we ended up in a hug. I'll finish though." He says before walking back to the table.

Kristen follows and sits with us until Mitch is finished. Once finished he turns to me and pouts. "Alpha Kacy made Kristie cry. She said some really rude things and I think all the alphas need to talk with her." He says.

"Why don't you want to talk to her?" I ask and he looks down. "Because I don't think she likes me too much. She doesn't like having me around when she's with Kristen. And last time I tried it didn't work our well." He explains.

"Baby. I'm sure she likes you. What's not to like? She just needs to find her place in the pack. You and Kristie have been together for a while, and that can be hard to adjust to. Also, you need to get to know each other.

You haven't even been in the same house for 24 hours yet. Give it some time." I say and he smiles. "Okay. Thank you alpha. But I still think you all should talk to her." He says and I kiss his head before standing up.

"Come on then. I'm calling another pack meeting. Like the one we did with Avi and Kevin." I explain and both omegas agree. I have Mitch run around and get everyone. Soon everyone except Kacy was out here. "Hun you forgot Kacy." I say and he frowns.

"No. I didn't. I told everyone, her included. I just don't know where she went." He says and I nod. "Avi go find your girl." I say and he stands. He walks off and soon comes back with Kacy, who is in tears.

"What's wrong?" I ask and she looks at me. "Your omega said some really rude things to me." She says and I look to Mitch. His mouth was hanging open with wide eyes. "What did he say?" Avi asks and she looks up at him.
