Chapter 27

After putting on my bracelet, we head inside. We are greeted by Troye and Connor, and Connor's face lights up when he sees Mitch. We all walk over and I give Troye a hug. Connor and Mitch hug before he turns to Troye. "Good morning alpha." He says and Troye smiles.

"Hello little one. I don't think I've ever met Scott's omega. This is a great experience." He says pulling Mitch into a hug. Mitch hugs back with no problem before Troye turns to Mark.

"You're here for a house. Let's get you one. Not everyone can fit in the office so your pack of course, but Scott maybe some of your pack can explore with Con." He says and I smile. "That's fine by me. Jeremy go with them, and you guys have fun." I say.

Everyone goes to walk off, but Mitch comes back to give me a hug. "I love you alpha." He says and I smile. "I love you too. We won't be long. And I'll come get you okay?" I say and peck him lips before he walks back to Connor.

They disappear down a hallway and Troye takes us to his office. We tell him the address of the house and it has no offers on it. Because of that, they get it for a good deal. Once approved for the house, the hard part, paper work. We work for 2 hours straight and soon everyone is getting restless.

After another 2 hours everyone is hungry, and I miss my baby. We've been apart for 4 hours, and it's been hell. I wonder if he misses me too. "Done! Finally." Mark says after another hour and a half of waiting. We thank Troye and he hands over the keys, officially taking the house off the market.

Troye sends out an announcement for Conner to bring my pack, and within minutes they were walking in. Mitch walked right up to me and into my arms. "Hi baby." I say with the largest smile. "Hi alpha." He says back. "I missed you." He says silently. "I missed you too baby." I let him know and he smiles.

Connor was in Troye's arms telling him about what they did for 5 and a half hours and it sounded like fun. "You didn't have fun?" I ask and he sighs. "I did a first, but I can only spend so much time away from you before I start missing you. That was over 5 hours without any contact from you." He says and I smile.

"Well we felt the exact same way, because I missed you like crazy." I say and he smiles. He leans into my chest and I wrap my arms all the way around him before kissing his head. "Who else is hungry?" I ask and I'm greeted by a gang of me. We thank Troye and Connor again before heading out.

Mitch didn't want to leave my side, so that meant Kendell had to ride with his pack. He said it was fine, but he seemed a little sad. I drove, so Mitch sat up front with me. We decided to drive to the house first, and then to wherever to eat.

We pull up to the house and I tell everyone to stay in the car. I was just running in to get my wallet and then we would meet Mark at the place. I quickly run in and grab in from the table before heading out and locking the doors behind me.

When I get back in the car everyone seemed to be avoiding my eyes. "What's going on?" I ask and everyone looks down. I look to Mitch and he quickly looks out the window. "I'm going to ask this one more time. What's going on?" I say and Mitch flinches.

"We were talking about his night terrors." Todrick quickly rushes out and I look at him. "Are they about me?" I ask and he looks down. "They're about me. Mitch what the hell?!" I ask and he jumps. "Can we not do this in the car? Please? I don't want to talk about it anymore." He says and I start the car. "Fine." I say and pull off.

We drive in complete silence, no one says a damn thing. Once we pull up I quickly kill the engine and hop out I walk over to Mark's group and sigh. "What's wrong?" He asks and I quickly explain what I found out. "How do you know you're the bad guy? Something could be happening to you and it could be killing him inside.

Hell they haven't even gotten out the car! Alex go get smalls for me." He says and Alex rushes over to the car. He pulls Mitch our, and soon the rest of my pack comes out. They all walk over and Mark sighs. He pulls Mitch into his arms and gives a small smile.

"Tell me about these night terrors you're having." He says and Mitch sighs. "He's not hurting me. He's not. It's just, he ends up hurt in some cases and dead in others and I. I can't let that happen. Every time it happens, it hurts more and sleep seems less appealing." He explains and Mark stars to rub his back.

"Oh smalls, he's one of the strongest alphas. There is no reason to be scared because he will always find a way to come back to you. You mean the world to him." He explains and I smile. Mitch walks up to me and takes my hand.

"You did it again." He says and I sigh. "I did didn't I? It's going to take some time, I'm only human." I say and he smiles. "I know." He says and I rub my thumb over his cheek and bottom lip. "I love you more then anything. You know that right?" I ask and he smiles.

"I love you too. More then anything. More then anyone."
