Chapter 40

The 5 of us climb into the car and make our way to the law council. The good thing about the councils is they are all in one area. Because there are 6 they sit in a circle making it easy for them to rotate buildings. Once we pull up Joe was outside with Casper waiting for us. We all get out and Casper comes running over.

He pulls Mitch into a hug and Mitch giggles. "Hi Casper. How are you?" He asks and Casper giggles. "I'm good. Who are your friends?" He asks and Mitch steps back. "This is alpha Mark he's my alphas friend. This is his omega Jack and alpha Mark's brother Alex." He explains and Casper gives them all hugs.

"It's a pleasure to meet you all. My name is Casper Lee and I'm Joe's omega." He introduces and they all get to talking. "Joe so how if this done?" I ask and he smiles. "I just need their statement. Do they tell me what happened and I record it. That's all." He explains and I smile. "Good. I don't need them pointing out people or anything like that." I say and he laughs.

"Let's get this over with so you all can go about your day." Joe says and I nod. "Let's go." I say and Mitch takes my hand. We ask walk inside and Jack and Alex are in awe. "It's so nice in here." Jack says and I smile. "Just wait until you see my building." I say and he giggles. Joe leads us to a small room and stops me.

"I just need the omegas. I'm sorry, I know how protective you are over Mitch I get it. But it's too make sure he doesn't cover anything up." He says and I nod before turning to Mitch. "So. You guys have to go in alone. We will be right outside the door for when you're done. Okay?" I say and Mitch smiles. "We'll be fine alpha. And if they aren't I'll protect them." Mitch says.

I chuckle and kiss his head before stepping out their way. They walk in and Joe hands me a speaker. We walk into another room and joe cuts on the speaker, a TV cuts on and it shows us thee room. We take a seat to watch the interview. The man starts asking questions and they answer truthfully. This goes on for about 20 minutes before they are let out.

We meet them at the door and they walk into our arms. "I'm tired..." Mitch says and I chuckle. "Then let's go get that nap you were promised." I say and he smiles. We thank Joe and Casper before getting in the car and pulling off. I wanted to get home as soon as possible became when Mitch gets really tired he gets angry.

"Excuse me alpha. I hate to be a bother, but I'm hungry." Alex says and Mitch rolls his eyes. "There's food in the house. You can't eat there." He says and I slap his arm. "We can stop for something to eat." I say and Mitch crosses his arms. "We aren't doing this. Stop. First and last time." I growl and he uncrosses his arms. "Yes sir."

We pull into a fast food place and Alex takes his time to choose what he wants. Jack and Mark both get something, bit they didn't take long. Mitch didn't want anything and I ordered for myself and the rest of the house. Only person who was left was Alex, and it was pissing Mitch off.
He was sitting in his seat vibrating with anger. After about 6 minutes, Mitch snaps.

"Just pick something already! My God it doesn't take that long. There's not even that much on the menu!" He says and I roll my eyes. "Mitchell! That is enough. You're not even eating here! You already told me what you want and we will get it for you, buy do not yell at him." I say and he rolls his eyes before responding. "Alpha it doesn't take that long! I'm not trying to be rude, but this is excessive! It never takes that long." He says and I pop him in the mouth.

"I didn't ask you to explain. I told you to stop talking. I know you're tired but you have no reason to take that out on others. So again don't say anything else rude. If you can't be nice don't talk, am I clear?" I ask and he looks at me. "Yes sir." I gesture to Alex and he gives a sad smile. "I'll have a number 2 please." He says and I order for him. They give me my total and Mark hands me half. I pull out the other half and pull around to pay.

Soon we were headed to the other place to get Mitch's food. We ordered while waiting for Alex, so all I had to do was run in and get it. Everyone was talking except Mitch. I pinch his leg and he jumps Beebe looking at me. "Please don't do that. It leaves marks." He says and I pat his leg. "Are you done being mean?" I ask and he nods. "No? Okay." I say and he grabs my and m arm. "Yes! Okay. I'm done."

He says and I smile. "Good." I say pulling into the parking lot. "I'll be right back. Don't let Mitch scare you too bad." I say and he playfully hits my arm before I get out. I run in and grab his food. I pay before making my way back to the car. When I get in Alex looks upset and Mitch has his arms crossed. As soon as I get in the car Mitch throws his hands up in surrender. "It wasn't me this time." He says and I roll my eyes.

"What happened?" I ask and Mark looks between Alex and Jack. "Alex was being mean for no reason. It's nothing. Lets just get home. I'm tired." He says and Mitch scoffs. "Me too." He says and I pull off.

Y'all I'm so depressed right now. So most is not all of you saw the post I did for my friend. It was also put in both my Instagram pages and she refuses to look at it. Like that hurt so bad because it took days to think if all the things she told me and all the things I found out. She didn't ready m read it, and she's ignoring me and I've got too much heart to just cut her off. Idk what to do... But on a high note 40 chapters! And over 2 thousand reads! Y'all are amazing!
