When we wake the next day, the house is loud and full of life. I leave Mitch in bed to go see what's going on. He was sleep and I didn't want to wake him, so I make my way down the stairs and into the living room to see everyone playing games.

I can't help but smile at everyone and that's when Todrick notices me. "Hey alpha! Come play with us." He says and I shake my head. "Later. Mitch is still sleep and I want to be there when he wakes up." I explain and he smiles. "That's sweet." He says.

With that I make my way back upstairs and into the room to see an empty bed. Mitch could be heard from the bathroom, so I knew he was showering. I walk into the bathroom, and without a word I start prepping for the day. I wash my face and brush my teeth.

At some point Mitch gets out the shower and appears next to me with a slight frown. "Alpha, you weren't there." He says and I kiss his head. "I know baby, and I'm sorry. It was loud downstairs, so I went to check it out." I explain.

"It's fine alpha, just... Can we not make it a habit? My favorite thing to wake up to is you." He says and I kiss his lips. "Same baby." I say and he smiles. He brushes his teeth and washes his face before coming out the bathroom. I kiss his neck as he picks out clothes for the day and he giggles.

"You're so full of love. It makes me smile." He says and I kiss his ear. "Our children will be lucky." He says softly and I kiss his temple. "We can talk about kids if you want to. Though I doubt we will have any soon." I say and he sighs. "What's wrong baby?" I ask and he turns around.

"Nothing. Alpha I... I want to be able to have kids. I want our kids to look like us, and I know you do too." He says and I lift his chin so he's looking me in the eyes. "There are plenty of things we can do so our baby looks like us. I'm not upset that you can't have kids, physically, and neither should you." I say and he closes his eyes. "Thank you." He says and I smile.

"Lets get you something to eat and then you can play with everyone." I say and he smiles. "Okay." He says and I take his hand. We walk like this down the stairs, past the rest of the pack, and into the kitchen. "Did anyone make breakfast?" I shout and no one says anything. I walk out and look at everyone frozen in place.

"So no one ate?" I ask and everyone says no. I roll my eyes and my phone rings. "Speak to me." I say and Mark chuckles. "We are on our way." He says and I groan. "Okay. Can you pick up breakfast for the crew?" I ask and he laughs. "No worries. Gluten free, correct?" He asks and I say yeah.

"Thanks man I owe you one. And see you soon." I say sans he chuckles. "See you then." He says and hangs up. "Mark is bringing breakfast, so thank him when he gets here." I say and walk back into the kitchen. "We don't have to cook. Mark is bringing food baby." I tell Mitch and he smiles.

"Okay." He whispers softly, and I frown. "Are you okay?" I ask and he turns around. "I'm fine, just lacking food." He says with a soft smile. We walk into the living room and Mitch goes to where the betas are. He starts to play with them, and both Kristen and Kacy start to pout.

"Mitch..." Kristin calls and he looks over. "You don't want to play with us?" She asks in a disappointed tone, and Mitch sighs. "I wanted to hang with Todrick and Kevin. I don't talk to them much." He says and she pouts more. "Fine. Be that way." She says and Mitch stands up.

"Kristin it's not like that. I just--" he's cut off. "Save it. You don't have to hang with me. Kacy can be my new best friend." She says before turning around. Mitch slumps back in his chair and puts his head down. "Munchie it's okay. I'll be your best friend and so will Jack and Alex. I'm pretty sure all the council omegas want to be your best friend too." Todrick says and Mitch smiles.

"Thank you. That made me feel better." Mitch says and Todrick pulls him into a hug. The door bell rings and Mitch follows me to the door. "You know... I'm your best friend too." I say and he kisses my cheek. "I know." He says with a warm smile. I open the door and in walks Mark and his pack. Jack makes his way to Mitch after saying hello, and they hug.

"I've got a question for you. Will you be my best friend?" Mitch asks and Jack smiles. "I'd really like that." Jack says with his accent and Mitch giggles. Mark smiles as they hug it out and I can't help but to smile too. "Is he okay?" Mark asks and I sigh. "Kristin said she didn't want to be his best friend anymore, so he's finding lots of others." I explain and Mark smiles.

"Who's idea was that?" He asks and I chuckle. "Todrick came up with it. So far he has all 5 council omegas, Todrick himself, Jack, Alex, and myself." I explain and he smiles. "Smalls come here." He says and Mitch walks over. "Hi alpha. How are you?" He asks and Mark smiles. "I'm great. I heard you were replacing your best friend. I know what she did wasn't nice, but don't be to hard on her. Oh, and you can add me to the list." He says and Mitch smiles.

Sorry this was late. I had a dentist appointment and a bunch of other things. I took my mom out to eat and it was nice. Love you all.
